As a Sling 2 owner here in the US, I’m proud to say that my Sling was built at the factory, it’s a work of art.

Such a great company from endless counts of housekeeping compliments to over all company structure. This company is rock solid, an idol to not only other companies but personally aswell. Thanks for keeping us in the loop. Always great to see your success. Maybe one day I'll be able to afford a sling myself, hah!

Fantastic high quality video.. I’m constantly surprised just what a big & professional operation The Airplane Factory is!!
Regards to Mike, I was there when it all started with Rainers Landcruser and the 6065 from the 701. Nice to see what Mike made out of it and congratulations to a great aviation legend

Great work guys. Any future development in an electric version. Or something similar to the Jetson one. Would be epic to see a South African in the ring.

Is the engine overhauled or is it completely replaced at 2,000 hours? Or do you put a new engine in while the old one is being overhauled?

Any idea when a six seater Sling will be available? In high or low wing.
So it sounded like other countries can have a complete sling tsi built and delivered. Is this true?

Is that the 2000hr engine change or overhaul?
@USA-GreedyMenOfNoIntegrity Жыл бұрын
Since most people don’t want to be grounded for months, while the engine is overhauled, it’s probably a change out with an overhauled engine.

Interesting, but I have to say: Your people look like they are working in slow motion AND way too much hand work.

Remember, if you’ve never made a video to show customers your process, you don’t rush through procedures, you take your time, so the camera man can pick the best parts. Most likely they don’t take a minute to measure something when they don’t have lights and cameras on them. Anybody with common sense knows that. Looks like they’re doing a great job.
