Devin williams be uploading these lit ass video. His actually my inspiration and favourite basketball player in youtube the way that guy plays and train is so sick he goes details by details i think his one of the best basketball trainer in youtube even when he plays his jumper and the way he dribbles are way too good everything is well detailed and thats whats make him a special player he always motivates me to go to the gym everyday to work on my game i wish i could find a trainer like him. Keep grindin devin!!!!!!!

From a visual stand point Isaiah thomas' looks soo clean. It almost seems like he is frozen in time and then he just explodes right past the defender

True True Yea IT’s is different from the one Dev taught. Same concept but his footwork is a little different which is why it doesn’t look like the others. His is smooth asf lol

This move is really good when going baseline. When doing the move going baseline, really make it seem like you are going to retreat then after explode. Me being a really small player have been cooking guys with this move from my 4 years of HS

Joel Rivera Facts I use it every time, but I find most success in the move when I go down baseline.

I'd say the "smitty" only works if the defense is convinced you have a post game. The whole point of half turning your back to the defender is to lull the defender into a squared up stance where he thinks hes about to get posted up. you cant see the defender squaring up his stance when you do the move so you're banking on the defender following his instincts and getting in a post defensive stance while you're already on your way to the hoop. But if you don't have a post game or if the defender isn't convinced you have a post game, that move will not work as intended. been using that move since i the 90s. its not even a move you can go to the well too often because once you pull that move off and blow by the defender, everyone is aware of that hesitation move now. Thats why you usually save it for game point.

thank you so much devin for your videos and this one! I learn so much from you! I have one question though. Im trying to work on my handles and kind of be able to cup the ball like you and have it stay longer in my hands. Im afraid this may be called for carry tho. I notice when I play your moves in slow mo it almost seem like you are carrying but your hand is not exactly at the bottom of the ball. What are your thoughts?
