I’ve had mine installed for some time and have done some hard launches with wife on the back with luggage as well as by myself racing buddies. I’ve had zero issues since it was put on. I can confirm that Moonshine builds a Beast of a bike and I just wish I’d taken the bike there two years ago instead of wasting my money on a Stage kit.

Who makes your compensator ramps? Cycle Rama makes a ramp out of chrome Molly. What is the difference between yours and Cycle Rama? I replaced the Darkhorse with CR ramp. Darkhorse was a great comp, but I’m not a racer and I want more quiet motor harmonics. Still waiting on the MS Jugs to build my bike with you guys

Hi a couple of questions? Is the piece for sale? How much $$? If you build a 150hp M8 but drive fairly normally and most of your fun is roll on power, on ramps/highway/3800-5200 rpm etc. High rpm highway shifting. Are you saying Darkhorse is overkill? Doesn't behave as well in normal traffic situations? What would you recommend for a clutch for that kind of operation? Thanks, watch ALL of your videos.

We designed the Comp OF Power for riders just like you. This compensator design is easier on all of the drivetrain parts behind it and retains the stock smooth feel. Just because we say smooth doesn’t mean it’s not high performance. We run this setup on our drag bikes. We prefer and recommend this comp for most builds. This piece can be purchased at shop.moonshineharley.com or call us at the shop Horsepower Team Nick - Aaron - Jamie - Mike Phone: 615-275-4170
Let's twist our cranks and put compensator eliminators on.... Come on guys let's go!!😮

I have a question regarding the installation of the billet compensator ramp. I had one Installed on my 2022 Roadglide Special, noticed some noise after installing, but noise has smooth out . Is this normal because of the self adjusting primary chain? Thank you Al P.S. will it continue to smooth out? Any input would be appreciated 👍.

It should be the same as stock as the ramp Is identical to the stock shape. The material used is what make the different.

Why would you pay a price for something you want, then bitch about it, because you did not get any free shit? I bet I can guess who he voted for too, with his hand out like that. Just got my Comp of Power all the way up in Alaska, absolutely no complaints from this American!! Scheduled to have my Kraus Wolf One Kit and power of comp installed June 1. A replacement set from Harley-Davidson. We typically see them handle 20,000 - 50,000 miles before needing replacement.

Need to beef up the springs with it know they break with certain torque numbers but kinda defeats the purpose if it’s torque numbers if it’s weakening the ramp imagine what the springs are taking

We haven’t experienced broken springs? They are a wear items that could be replace from 20,000 - 70,000 miles depending on abuse.

Many other manufacturers use gear driven primary. Therefore no compensator?
@MoonshineHarley2 жыл бұрын
The compensator is need due to the H-D firing pattern as it’s not evenly split.

Why doesn’t anyone make for a twin cam with the SE comp ? The ramp looks the same as what’s in my twin cam.
@toddoverby55382 жыл бұрын
Not sure what year you have. I have an 01 TC. Everyone I talk to says the compensators are good on the 2003 and earlier. Once they changed it to the integrated spring setup (maybe in 2007) it went to poop. Then instead of going back to the old one they kept trying to make the SE version work. Even Baker Drive train told me the stock ones were good. I'm making 120HP 124 TQ with a 107 and it's been good so far. About 5000 miles on the 107. Bike has 27000. They say the same thing about the clutch basket but I put a billet one in anyway. I have not found anyone that makes a compensator replacement for the early TC. Darkhorse said they do not make their version for the early TC because it has fewer teeth and a smaller diameter that doesn't allow for enough material to keep it strong enough with their setup.

Will this work for twin cam or just m8

M8. The Twin-Cam comp is a beast right from H-D.
@PitbullSoco2 жыл бұрын
@Moonshine Harley you've officially lost all credibility saying that twin cam comps are beasts from HD. Maybe 2011-2016 but 2007-2010 are complete trash. Designed for 80ci and never revamped enough for the power of the 96ci. Complete trash.
