Like when you already own something or don't consume the majority of your entertainment through temporary streaming services, you don't really have to worry about your favorite jackass making money from you listening to them. After being outted as a piece of shit, you can still pop in a CD guilt free. You can plug in an aux chord or connect to the blutooth, and listen to songs directly from a 100GB SD card inside your phone. What they need to do with Cavill's Superman, is build off of the "feel" he had from Justice League, when he was revived and regained his memories. The central appeal of Superman, IMO, is hope. And it really works well in "we're totally screwed!.... Wait.. What's that? It's.. it's... Superman!" type moments (generally at the beginning of a story, intro scenes, etc). They need to channel the idea Batman put forward, that Clark is a God who's more human than any of us. Also, if he wasn't holding back, he'd definitely beat Wonder Woman. (I know it comes across as a lazy plot device, he's as strong as the story needs, but it's part of the human element. He truly cares about not hurting people).
