For those complaining about the rocket vs dart scene...Sonic saw the rockets(he didnt slow time down, we were seeing time from his perspective because he moves so quickly), and was able to stop it, but there was a reaction time when he thought "Alright, they're coming towards me, lets do this" Doing the same thing for the dart scene isnt possible because the dart moves so quickly, you could argue he could do it before it was shot, but thats equivalent to us slowing the video down before he shoots to about x2500 slower...and then sit there and wait to see if he even does shoot...it makes absolutely no sense. Lets do some science-y stuff 1) Dart scene, air guns that shoot tranq darts generally fire at 150 ft/s(200 ft/s can break bones, so it has to be less then that), guy was standing about 6 feet from Sonic, 2 foot arm span would take it down to around a 4 foot distance, itd take the bullet just under 0.02 seconds to hit him(an eye blink lasts 0.1 second, dart is 5 times faster than that)...he had 0.02 seconds to realize and react to a dart coming at him...not going to happen. 2)The rocket scene, those rockets are just fictional rockets, and they came from fictional aircraft, slow moving rockets, I dont even have to do the calculations because its pretty obvious he was going to shoot them and sonic knew it, the aircraft took a second to open up in the front, then he took another second to fire, then the rockets took another second to get to where sonic was standing...had PLENTY of time to react. So 3 seconds to react vs 0.02 seconds to react, that dart was 150x faster than the rockets. More science stuff, because Im bored Looks like the closest drone to him was around 50 feet away, and the rocket stopped about 2 feet from him, so you're talking roughly 48 feet, if it takes 1 second to travel 48 feet then the missile is travelling at only 32mph, far slower than what Sonic can do(760mph), to put into perspective, a Hellfire missile(most common land-to-surface missile) travels at almost 1000mph, 31 times faster than these piddly things.

The Sonic design for this movie is a cursed image for me, but I chose to tolerate the suffering and watch this reaction to the trailer. Bruh, y'all had me rolling from the start of the video. 🤣🤣 "Aww, they put their name on it, noooo.... why did y'all do that?" Gangsta's Paradise deserve better. From what I read, the ring is actually how Sonic came to our dimension... yeah. This look like it was meant to be one of those $2 DVD's you see near the cash register at the Dollar Store that nobody ever buys. Sonic 2 was my first Sonic game as well, my brother had the Sega Genesis (I had his OG Nintendo system) with Mortal Kombat II, Contra, Super Street Fighter 2, Eternal Champions, and whatever that game was with the green dude that can shoot green orbs 'Vecterman' or something (it was trash so I honestly don't remember playing it). As an original 2003 fan I was truly disappointed by the trailer not only the chaos emeralds are not mentioned but Knuckles, Amy, and Tails aren't going to be in the movie.
