I disagree. There's no such thing as "the right one." There are people who shouldn't and couldn't have a relationship with anyone, no matter how hard they try because eventually people see through the façade (their mask of approachability that hides a deep-seated selfishness and apathy). Then there's everyone else. It's like Bo Burnham once said, "if you want love then lower your expectations of it." No one is "meant" for anyone, people just choose to be with each other because they've decided that it's better to hold onto that opportunity for love, meaningful affection, and building something alongside each other than it is to waste the best years of your life waiting around for someone who probably doesn't exist. And imo that makes it more meaningful, and that's why love is beautiful, because it's a choice not some trite "destiny" or "fate."

My !! Had to switch to subtitles, stuck around. 200% worth it (non native speaker here... but we do we got some accents round here no subtitles could get their teeth around ! )

@@AngZok You don't need an explanation. Think about scenarios. Bless your heart for askin' though.
@randlebrowne20483 жыл бұрын
@@AngZok It's an expression of sympathy. It's just that it often (but not always) is used in the sense of feeling sorry for someone who was, apparently, dropped on their head repeatedly as a child. Sometimes it *is* used to express genuine sympathy for someone who is going through a tough situation through no fault of their own, though.

So this is what it's like listening to another South Carolinian; loved it! Been living in SC for 24 years and I've had people say stuff about my accent when in other towns in SC, and now I know what it's like hearing it from another. Even the rest of my family and friends in SC don't sound like this. The manorisms were just so spot on, haha.
