The more I have listened to this song (which I love) it reminds me of my relationship with my entire family. Always a space between us. I have never felt like I belonged with them. I loved this song when it first came out and fell in love with the video. My favorite part is the end when Dave is alone with the girl who seems to be waiting for him. He raises his left eyebrow, looks back and gives a near academy award look before he takes of the guitar and walks over to her. He really should do more acting, he's a natural! Also, for a relatively simple concept video, it really relays a lot of emotion. Great song and video!!

He said there was something captivating about both the song and video and he was right.
