Wait.... Thorgi is going to do JoJo when he has time? I cannot wait. Can. Not. Wait. Until I can finally hear him talk about SBR. I know it'll be YEARS until then, but a Joestar can dream dammit.

I´m a massive Junji Ito Fan and i was also very desensitized to horror and gore (maybe because i discovered death metal album covers when i was like 11). Honestly i´m very fascinated by all of his stories, but the only 2 times i was like "this is fucked up" are in Uzumaki Spoilers: The babies trying to get back into the womb. The guy eating the snail alive and describing eating his face.

Now this looks creepy. I can't wait to see what the anime can do. Also you should do more asian movies and manga for Halloween it'll give you a scare

I just made a review of Uzumaki myself, it’s one of the best modern examples of Lovecraftian horror done extremely well 😃

I know the manga has nothing to do with Naruto, but the Uzumaki name intrigued me lol!

If you enjoyed how/that this scared you then you should definitely try out H.P. Lovecraft, if you haven’t already! Lovecraft actually was one of Junji Itos biggest inspirations but don’t worry, his stories are not about body horror like the snails from Uzumaki but more about some of the other themes from Uzumaki.

is it really that scary? I read the whole book in one sitting without breaks for water or food lmao.

Is it wrong that Junji Ito doesn’t really scare me anymore? Kinda think his version of Frankenstein was just...boring looking. Less stitched together creature made with human and animal parts...looked more like a really sweaty zombie.

Eh it’s not that scary

You put too much effort on all the wrong ideas. You give the impression of a failed wanna-be sketch-writer.
