I still remember the day I bumped into his blog back in 2012. It was like finding a treasure. Alex hogrefe changed the way architecture students and architects work forever, he deserves some sort of medal, seriously!

Yes, he does! During our conversation, we mentioned how much of an influence he has been and still is to the architecture community. But I'm not sure he knows how massive the impact is, the guy is a legend! I think I only discovered his blog in 2015

I didn't know nothing about Alex Hogrefe until this video. I watched everything on his webpage right after this and to be honest: I think Alex is the GOAT of architecture visualization. My life changed completely today. Thank you so much for making this happen Upstairs and Show It Better!

That's the exact same feeling I had back then when I discovered his blog. I'm glad we could bring him to the eyes of new people. Appreciate the feedback, Juan!

I learnt of this interview that the best way to approach to archviz is from the observation of the real world, to be curious about reflections and shadows.

This was an awesome video to see, seeing the three people who inspired me to get better in this field all talk at the same time is so cool!

Thank you so much for this interview, it was very informative. I find I could relate to 90% of the things you are speaking about. I also graduated with a Master of Architecture however my passion was always driven by visualization. For me, I find that Arch Viz is a "weird" grey area as it relates to architecture. Arch Viz finds itself lodged between the industries of Architecture, Design, Film/Animation, Video Games, Environment Art etc. It's such a crazy overlap.
