My dad is the youngest of 14 (my grandma had him at 44) he’s now in his 70 and his oldest sibling is still alive. As far as I know, they never had any children die before both my grandparents passed and only 3 have passed away since, though a few are in their 90’s, so that will start changing soon. Most of their kids also have pretty big families so I have LOTS of cousins, but unfortunately I was only able to have one pregnancy that went full term, but I’m so blessed with my son. He’s the most affectionate tween I’ve ever met, always keeping my hug meter at max. It’s probably best that we didn’t have a bunch of kids because he’s autistic and needs some extra attention. We’re currently taking our foster parenting course in hopes to foster children on the spectrum. That’s something we would have never considered if we had a house full of kids.

I lost my daughter at 6 days old to SIDS. It will be 3 years old in July I nursed her at 430 AM and woke up at 843 AM to my worst nightmare. My daughter not breathing, pale, and lifeless. She was our only little girl after 3 boys, I just had our 4th boy in September. At 5 days old he got admitted to the hospital for severe jaundice. Then they found out he was severely dehydrated. Which I didn't know because I was nursing. Had he not gotten hospitalized we would have lost him too 💔😭 I would love more kids, but my husband says he's done. I am so sorry for your loss, but you're so beyond blessed as well. Your family is beautiful!

@@angieang26 you never know. I have 4 grown children (in 6.5 years)and three miscarriages between numbers 2&3. We have not used any contraception and still no other pregnancies in 19 years. We may think we know something, but that is just when we realize we don’t.😉

I have a theory that if you've already had children prior to your 40s, if you get pregnant in your 40s you're less likely to have complications, as well as easier to conceive (vs. having to do IVF or other fertility treatments), than someone who became pregnant for the first time in their 40s.

Love big families! The family reunions are the best-My grandmom had 24 kids and cooked lunch and dinner for them everyday (back then, the kids walked home from school at lunchtime to eat) they lived in Gloucester NJ and later in life she also worked at Campbell Soup Factory in Camden NJ- my mom was her first and my mom had her third child, when my grandmom had her last. She was such an amazing woman and I am so blessed to be one of her grandkids (which she has over 100 of) the number of kids does include a set of twins that died at birth (she had one other set of twins-my aunt Nancy and uncle Pete) and she had a little baby girl who passed around 4 months-Gracie was her name. My mom is now 80 years old and still does so much, just like my Gram always did. I’m lucky to come from a long line of amazing women.

I went to elementary school with one of The Jets cousin's and they all came out to Colorado to visit, and I got to spend the night and meet them all. They were all very sweet. I forgot to get them to autograph their album even though I brought it with me. 🤦🏿‍♀️😩🤣

I am sorry but I have a hard time being supportive of this. It’s hard to take care of and nurture just 1 child and make sure you don’t cause them trauma or neglect any of their needs. Actually it is so hard for parents to meet their kids needs that most of us have some scars from our childhood and unmet needs. I think people from large families are at greater risk of not having their needs met growing up. How is this fair? I’m open to discuss this with anyone who wants

I loved the Jets as a young girl! I grew up with a very strict father I was not allowed to use the radio and less he permitted but one day in the car with a family member they had a radio station on and the song that you played in this video by the Jets was a song that I heard I went home I found a little transistor radio snuck it into my bedroom and made my sister sit there with me for hours until we could find that song and do you know that it came on moments later my father came home he was very upset with me he took that radio and threw it out I thought my father was crazy none the less but he wasn't he wanted to protect us from this world Not too many years later I rebelled and got pregnant at the age of 15 I would only be a mommy to that little boy for 3 months I went into his bedroom early one morning and as your husband did I found my son without life that truly was the most devastating thing that has ever happened to me in mylife I am 43 years old now that the pain is still as raw but as you stated God has given me the strength and the grace to get through it I didn't know it then but he was with me then it took the death of my son for me to come to know the Lord Jesus Christ as my God and my Saviour and I am so grateful for it I'm so grateful to my son that he loaned his life to me just to open my eyes and help me to look to God

It's great that it's worked for them but having so many children is not healthy. The stress it puts onto the mother's body; the lack of emotional input that the children receive from their parents (by virtue of there not being enough time to invest in them) & the resource burden it places on our planet are not to be celebrated.

What a touching story.....I know that the LORD Jesus Christ will get them through their trials and Bless them and their children. Losing a child is the single most horrible thing for a parent to go through.....and they seem to be comforted knowing their precious baby girl is in Heaven with the LORD God.....and I believe that He is giving them comfort of heart and mind and soul.....this family will be ok.
