Can't be understated just how vital his support to the esports community was. He made a risk to invest in a scene that wasn't too relevant to the whole world at the time (but it was growing, for sure) and it paid off. He supported the community wherever he had appeared in. And he's always doing his best in doing all those things. What an awesome man this guy.

All to best to him and his oraganization.

Kplephn single-handedly defeated the purpose of this entire video. There are Lakers fans, traditional sports fans, that got this video from there recommended list who are asking the same thing about every game that appears in the video. "Why mention a party game?" is what they ask about esports in its entirety. "Why would you watch a video game?" As someone who saw that news segment live, it hurts me that someone from *inside* the esports community would say something like that about another video game - KZbin comment or not. It really shows that we still have a long way to go.

I am from EU and have followed the LCS/LCK for almost 10 years now and I have never seen someone fight so hard for eSports in the West. He is one of the people that made the masses aware that the pro players stake everything on eSports just like physical sports pros. And I believe we owe him a lot in terms of making eSports commercially successful and in it becoming mainstream. Thanks to him eSports in the west is slowly becoming as recognized and well known as in asia. Usually when you see rich and famous people move into esports they are in for the money but he, essentially just wanted to connect with his son and got hooked on the feeling of eSports. He is supporting Echo Fox with a passion and is something akin to the mental core of their team. So now seeing investors and supporters and even Riot throwing him under the bus feels heartless, bitter and undeserved. He made me love not the team, but the whole organization so I pasionally hope he will come out of this on top.
