As a lifelong eagles fan a few important notes from this season- The offensive line was absolutely terrible. While they had some early superstars I.e Jason kelce as a rookie , they were statistically one of the worst units in the league. The offense was more complicated and more pass focused which forced vick into a lot of injuries early on in the year. Compounded with the other issues mentioned and the Eagles were playing from behind all season long. Not until the very last 4 weeks did they really look like the team they should have been. Too little too late in a season that could have sent Vick’s career trajectory into hall of fame territory imo

Great video, I enjoy the content! In the week 1 matchup against the St. Louis Rams, Steve Smith did not have 178 yards and two touchdowns. He had 0 catches that day and finished the season with 124 receiving yards and 1 touchdown. He was a disappointment just like the rest of the team that year lol.

I think some context is important too: the Phillies were in the mix of their greatest regular season in franchise history eventually getting to 111 wins. People were feeling GOOD about Philly sports, so when Vince Young said what he said it got us all fired up even more. Fast forward and the Phillies were first round exits to the eventual WS Champ Cardinals, so needless to say people were pissed. Then when this dumpster fire took the field, it was an absolute tragedy. Not a great year for Philadelphia sports lol
