Too bad that Whip only has a little Brief appearance with no Dialogue in that KOF: Another Day Anime Short (that was meant to Promote Maximum Impact 2), I actually would've liked her even more if she still remains AWOL from the Ikari Warriors in the KOF series (to me, that would have been a lot way more Interesting). Edit: That's how Characters like *Naofumi Iwatani* from "Shield Hero" and *Mei* from "Pacific Rim: The Black" have such Interesting Storylines.

KOF 99 was still my favorite Game in the Series, Yeah the Storyline was pretty Dark but that isn't the only Dark part about it, all the Endings in KOF 99 are way more Darker than just Whip, Terry Bogard, Takuma Sakazaki and even Kim Kaphwan and Jhun Hoon were almost going to be killed off in 99, thankfully it was only a Dream sequence for Choi and Chang, Terry did managed to get out of there, it's gonna take more than a crumbling pile of Rocks to put Takuma down.

@MICHAEL WHITMIRE yeah, it was sad he got used up until his own betrayal and death. It didn’t help that, he was lied about his past life and him believing that he wasn’t a clone. What’s even sadder was that, he believed whip was actually his sister. The belief he had, up until his final conversation with her at his own death. It didn’t help that the fact, that he was so confused and upset during that whole conversation.

I think those are actually members of Those From the Past who are observing the Ikaris from another dimension. Lmao @ 2:04 I thought I accidentally skipped to the end loved the epik trolling you rule brother!!!🤣🤣 I think its really kool how Whip brings unity between the Ikari Warriors and K’Dash’s crew one thing I really admire and she has to make the base roster for KOF15 since she already was DLC for KOF14 the question is what Team she’ll be in since Ralf and Clark are without a doubt going to be in Leona’s Team as the Ikari Warriors Team and K’Dash will comprise of Kula Diamond and Maxima ruling out those two possibilities my theory is and would be kool team with Heidern and Adelheid Bernstein imagine that, this alliance would piss off Rugal Bernstein teamed up with Mature and Vice to see his son has joined an allegiance with his mortal enemy Heidern since the Ikari Warriors are a faction of more than 3 characters they could certainly make a second team or maybe have agents like Blue Mary, Ramon or Vanessa as the third member but I think Adelheid would be a better choice because it escalates their relationship from KOF13 how Heidern helped Adelheid figure out what’s wrong with Rose and uncover the intentions of Those From The Past and it could furthermore fuel up and evolve the rivalry of Heidern and Rugal and give Adelheid, Rose being the Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa to Rugal’s Darth Vader also Whip is not brushed off to the side as she was in KOF13 and not a single entry as she was in KOF14 like Heidern was.

SNK made an official video of the NEST saga, it’s mostly a recap of the story and in 2001 ending, K’ team defeat Igniz while Kyo, Iori, and Kula’s involvement to beat Igniz is false. Tldr = snk did some oversimplified recap so it wouldnt be too complicated and confusing (thus just covering k' story, where other char doesnt get in depth story), the game story itself is deep and convoluted and it sometimes require to find secret team to get some "hidden ending", also if the canonical (pre-made) team doesnt win the tourney then they will get some "char development" story (where there's no cutscene of them killing the main boss), also take the story interpretation with grain of salt (wether the community one or the official recap) cuz basically anyone could interpret it as they wanted if it basis on the in-game cutscenes Just a quick FYI, kof always have "canonical ending" if you play the official pre-made team or lot of people call it the "canon team", so you will get the true ending that happend within that team (there also some secret canon team, just like sacred treasure in kof 97) Sometimes if the team doesnt really win the tourney then they will get some ending like "hanging out with each other" (notably the aof and fatal fury team who always in the paopao cafe, or illusion bar who own by king, or maybe in the future instalment there will be new location like kyokugen bbq who own by takuma), most notably is what happen to shingo early on (as he didnt win, but there some char development as he got stronger) Other case, there some story about some char trying to propose/engage in relationship (notably ryo and king, or terry and mary), or even have some foreshadowing like what happen to terry and rock howard (about terry having nightmare getting thrown off the building like what happen to rock father, which implicitly tell story about rock pain when he doesnt have father in very young age), also notably elisabeth and ash story which she is foreshadowed to return with ash in kof 15 in some of the canon cutscene within kof 14 team So yeah basically if they doesnt win the tourney or the match then they will not get any cinematic related to killing krizalid, zero, igniz, orochi (97, FYI the one who kill them is an "easter egg" team consist of 3 sacred treasure kyo iori chizuru), and other boss So if the cinematic is intertwined, then the community usually interpret it as happening at once (teaming up) So about the kof recap officially by snk, maybe they doesnt want to "over-convoluted the recap" cuz if they does it properly with each of char back story and their ending, it will be 1 hour anime OVA mate, and yeah i will gonna watch it if its happening (but such thing is so expensive and for now snk doesnt have the financial to do so), basically you can call it "oversimplified" recap to make the story more digestable, cuz tieing kof story together is hard (you need to win with each canon team, and possibly secret canon team, also facing "SNK boss syndrome") For nitpicking reason, in the recap they also didnt explain that zero canon shoot 2 times (while in fact it shoot twice before we fight zero and after he loses), also k' is escaping early (after 99 tourney, not 2000) and maxima isnt created by nest but its a canadian soldier that wanted to destroy nest for revenging his teamate, so yeah its very simplified (and lot of plot point were cutted to make it more straight forward) In case of 2001 ending, i kinda agreed that shoryu may mistake the wording within snk wiki or basically the canonical ending within the game itself, which mean everybody should on board in the ship and fight igniz together (cuz everyone ending are the same essentially killing igniz), while in the wiki the wording are "every team leader, kyo and iori", it could be mistaken as k, kula, kyo, iori while in fact there was everyone on the ship (the wording is like that cuz kyo and iori are single entry in 99 and doesnt have team, so they carried away in 2001 wiki story as they doesnt have team, while in fact they already have team in 2001, so the wiki writer may have confuse the story) Basically take the story interpretation of the community and the snk official recap with grain of salt, cuz every interpretation is still acceptable if they had some basis with in-game cutscene (just like some conclusion that shingo got train by saisyu "kyo father", which pretty much implied in kof 2001), basically have fun with the story and take it canon or non canon at you will, but the rule of thumb is to just follow the in game cutscene and add your own interpretation if you dont like some people or the community interpretation Cuz the community sometimes have their own rule like "if every team win the tournament, then only the main hero team win it" this is happen in case of 97 (the main hero is the 3 sacred treasure), might as well they conclude 2001 story with this rule in mind, so the one who win 2001 is k' (hero) team by that rule, but hey you could add your own rule and story interpretation as you will That rule will get more interesting when you learn that the one who win kof13 is everyone, but within in depth analysis some found that the one who win is technically ash crimson himself (alone), but some may argue the winning team is elisabeth (cuz she is with ash and having some special dialogue, before he died after killing saiki, the main villain of 13), thus the sad ending about elisabeth memory that refused to forget ash crimson is revealed (everyone forget who ash is after he died, thus in the real canon story, every team think they are the one who win, yeah kinda complicated cuz it have some time paradox thingy which make the winner of 13 "ash" is forgotten thus a new winner is emerged randomly and chaotically), thus in kof14 official comic its revealed that no one remember who the winner of kof13 (cuz ash is forgotten, and everyone saying is contradict with each other) Also one of my favorite story about kof (canon or not, take it as you will) is when leona got crazy with riot of the blood, ralf and clark manage to calm down leona with some brutal fight that injure both soldier but leona is awake before she could kill them, the community do an interpretation based on ralf "round intro" that he will always drink some beer before fight (in early kof instalment), so in their 2nd ecounter with orochi leona when she got crazy again, the community made up some interpretation that "ralf wouldnt do it sober, then he go drunk to fight orochi leona to make sure she under control", which is super funny and i just consider it canon cuz its pretty much in character with ralf playful and crazy attitude in the face of danger Hope this help to explain some discrepancy betwen the two lore (community and the official), and have a nice day :)) Also if you want the real OG ending experience itself and tie the ending story yourself, then you could play the game or watch some footage on youtube that cover every possible ending and cutscene in the game

About the last part of the video. I disagree. In the case of Whip, she *can* be a waifu. People forget Cammy is actually M.Bison's clone. Peter Parker has married a clone of Mary Jane and both were really happy (until the clone died 😭) I think that depends on personal judgment. So yeah, in my opinion Whip can be waifu.

speaking of team ikari warriors, expect to whip. there's ralf & clark's trailer of KOF XV is dropped, shoryu. and now team ikari warriors are back in KOF XV. ralf & clark they's looks great in XV model, pretty much the same thing his version in XIV, and that new stage is one of the best looking stage in XV, the metal slug's themed stage is soooo badass, OMG! so, l cannot wait to see your analysis video, bro.
