Dear Mike...I want to say thank you to you. I'm a 54 year old woman with 2 terminal diseases. I spend my life bedridden or stuck on a dialysis machine, and it gets so, so lonely. Due to being bedridden, I don't have any friends to talk to, and only an adult son for family. Most of the time I am very, very sick or in a great deal of pain-I try to smile through it all, but it gets really hard sometimes. Then one day, by sheer accident, I found your channel. I cannot tell you how much you've brightened my life! Yes, the stories are sad and sometimes even truly horrible (murder just is, ya know?), but that's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about your personality. You are so awesome! You make me laugh, smile, and help me to forget the pain, even if only for a little while. You give me something to look forward to-and that's a precious thing, indeed. Thank you, Mike, thank you so very much. Don't ever doubt the impact you have on people. You're a true blessing to me, and I thank you dearly. God bless you, kiddo!

I mean, it is possible that he was being asked to take photos of Sonnier but got bored and fell asleep, then was startled by being woken up and, in a half-dream state of fuzzy thinking, he thought he was in danger and shot his pistol... then, once you've shot once, you think the only course of action now is to continue due to adrenaline building up in the system and it becoming a fight/flight scenario.
