Dear Mike...I want to say thank you to you. I'm a 54 year old woman with 2 terminal diseases. I spend my life bedridden or stuck on a dialysis machine, and it gets so, so lonely. Due to being bedridden, I don't have any friends to talk to, and only an adult son for family. Most of the time I am very, very sick or in a great deal of pain-I try to smile through it all, but it gets really hard sometimes. Then one day, by sheer accident, I found your channel. I cannot tell you how much you've brightened my life! Yes, the stories are sad and sometimes even truly horrible (murder just is, ya know?), but that's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about your personality. You are so awesome! You make me laugh, smile, and help me to forget the pain, even if only for a little while. You give me something to look forward to-and that's a precious thing, indeed. Thank you, Mike, thank you so very much. Don't ever doubt the impact you have on people. You're a true blessing to me, and I thank you dearly. God bless you, kiddo!

MrAsap2000as, adults who face tragedy are not always fine. They can go into deep depression, become alcoholics or drug addicts. I believe it was on this channel that featured a story of a married woman who didn't take her her grandfather's death very well. She ended up murdering her teenage daughters

The logic of the people in Mike's stories make me facepalm so hard I think it'll crack my skull. FFS just move on people! Nothing is worth risking life in jail, or any jail time for that matter, and nothing is worth killing someone over. Sheesh. I mean, it is possible that he was being asked to take photos of Sonnier but got bored and fell asleep, then was startled by being woken up and, in a half-dream state of fuzzy thinking, he thought he was in danger and shot his pistol... then, once you've shot once, you think the only course of action now is to continue due to adrenaline building up in the system and it becoming a fight/flight scenario.

This POS actually says “I pushed in the window and went after him because hey, I didn’t know if he was going for a weapon to hurt me with” as if he had a self defense reason to further go after the person he’s trying to kill. How dare the victim be going for something to defend themselves with.

It's hard to believe because you possess basic human emotions like empathy, sympathy, guilt and fear. A lot of people capable of taking life, especially in cold-blood, are lacking most if not all of these virtues. At best, they are under-developed. That's why children sometimes will do really fucked up things with no understanding.

I totally agree, its unbelievable...maybe the gun culture in the US has something to do with it, cheapens life....thankfully we don't have that here in Ireland, that's not to say we don't have murders but they don't seem to be as prolific, thankfully.
