I saw STP open for RHCP in Detroit (Pine Knob/DTE) and the audience was lame during STP' set. Scott Weiland yelled at the audience "WTF you're supposed to be DETROIT ROCK CITY?" that got the audience going a little bit but yeah, I felt bad for STP. Then RHCP's came out and played deep cuts for 2 hours and maybe 3 radio hits lol. Was a weird show.

I can see why they don't go to the midwest. Awful crowd in Minny as well apparenly, but at least they are standing. In Fargo, 99% of people were sitting and like 10% of those were napping. They're never coming back here again 😢

That’s a huge bummer. Maybe they’d come back if they were headlining a festival but highly doubtful

Yeah I was here and it really pissed me off although this isn’t a Midwest thing it’s everywhere. I like the rhcp but it’s bad to have the strokes open for them because literally everyone at the concert only cares about the rhcp. My section was all sitting, with most of the people just on there phones and it really hindered my experience because these were some of my favorite songs and nobody really even payed attention. Even during the rhcp set people were leaving and really didn’t seem to care a whole lot. Lots of posers. I seriously hope I get the opportunity to go to a headline show because they’re great live.

I was there, the songs were good but the dead are in between was pretty bad. They probably could have fit 3 or 4 more songs in their set if their wasn't so much standing around, saying a sentence or two to the crowd here and there. They didn't seem very enthusiastic.
