This man can suffer. Insane effort and I'm so glad, like many others that you chose to not ditch the gopro even thought its weight!

What a climb and what an effort! This type of weather does make these climbs look more epic though. :) However, there was a severe lack of two things in this video. Pain faces and sheep! I expected sheep-dodging with all of that helmet talk. :P

That was impressive!

I am such a weak cyclist compared to you 😯. Massive respect for your performance and love the first person view!
@lindabillett45353 жыл бұрын
Glad you did carry the GoPro - that was fascinating. Wise to wear the helmet in the wet murky condition with sheep & rough road surface - interesting that the time loss from it is a bit reduced due to increased confidence … so many small factors to programme in 🤔👍

Amazing achievement and effort, well done🤘 What’s the reason to not ride with HR on this?
@edlaverack3 жыл бұрын
Mainly because of the way it feels around my chest when I’m full gas. Strange I know. But also it weighs 50g😂

Great video Ed. Just a thought why don’t you reach out to gcn as offer them to make a national champs hill climb series following your build up. Would be great for your channels growth too

Well, appreciate that, I’m making the videos here on my own channel☺️

I know nothing about this whatsoever. Nothing. Don't even know why I am here (except to appreciate anyone who is into whatever they are into, the geek mentality). Would not dropping body weight be easier (not that OP could drop a lot:-)). Is there some kid of ratio of payoff between mass of the rider and mass of the bike?

Rode it on my 9kg Cube, want to re-do it on my 7kg Cannondale Supersix Evo...
