Ordered the Gx 100 for recording and direct stuff maybe use it at practice. Was completely disappointed with it ready to send it back and get the gt1000. Bought your pack and am now keeping it. The mega preset is my drive tone. It sounds like my amp. So yeah boss owes Paul a thank you!!

I have both. The Katana and the GX 100. And havnt even scratch the surface yet. I even ran the GX 100 through a GNX4000 to record GX. Then into the Katana. Crazy stuff.

Great preset pack Paul. As suggestion, you could make a video on the curnum assign. This enables you to add assigns to a second press of any of the preset switch. That way you could for example free up the C1 switch in your patches for something else.

Became my reference in a few days, awesome taste and great player! I want a tonex just to buy his patches... Now i have to choose what to couple with it: a boss gx100, headrush mx5 or a boss gt 1000 core. But i'm sure he would make sound great even my old dod tec4

It’s February 23, 2024 as I comment. The “mid forward” setting on Amp 2 of your second preset is something I hope to include when I eventually come around to creating my own patches on my GX-100. In my case, I’m looking (as I’ve commented below other Studio Rats uploads) to be able to switch between a JC120 clean signal chain and a Plexi-type drive amp tone with mid boost. That is something I’ve been attempting to create in a contained environment such as this paddleboard since I was 22 and bought my Line 6 Flextone II. One tone I think is spectacular is the one you selected at 6:35. It brings to mind the Alan Parsons instrumental “Sirius” that begins the 1982 *Eye in the Sky* LP. I previously took a stab at adapting that tone for guitar (it was originally sequenced on a Fairlight synthesizer) back in 1999 when I briefly owned a Zoom 3030 processor.

Great video as always guys , I'm had the boss gx 100 now for a few months now and have had great results setting up some tones , one in particular for Greg kihn (the breakup song ) but for the life of me I can't figure out how to assign different effects to C1 , what you've show is exactly how I want to use mine , do you have or know of a more indepth tutorial of how to use the assign function please , and keep up the great videos

Hey Paul, seriously great sounding tones here. I plan on running my boss GX 100 into an orange pedal baby and into a 2x12 cab. Will these works ok or do i need to turn off the cabs in the patches?
