How does the GX-100 compare to the ME-80? I am about to pull the trigger on one of these and can't decide
@ryanmurphyart2 жыл бұрын
@@NeverStopLearningMan Hey. The ME-80 is great for what it is, but it’s very limited. It’s has a fixed signal chain. On the GX-100, there’s so many more effects, and you can place any effect anywhere. It’s actually pretty easy to use, and there will be many updates in the future for it. ME-80 is old tech. I would get the GX-100 for sure, as you might regret buying the ME-80 and selling it in the end. Hope this helps. It’s worth the money!

@@rakeshyadla7912 I didn't make a mistake, I'm much happier with the GX-100. Obviously if price was no object the Helix would probably be a better Praise & Worship unit but for me, the Gx-100 has what I need for the budget I'm on. Great sounds!! Thanks for all GX100 video series. It definitely convinced me to purchase this unit. I've received my Gx100 today. I only had an hour and a half... And I spent almost all that time just using the first preset. Wow, it sounds amazing!!! I'm impressed, I was enjoying playing chords, and also playing the few songs I know , all with the same patch. When it was about the time to stop playing, is when I passed through some of the other patches. I can't wait for the weekend and play some more :) .... Wow, I had (still have) the first Boss GT, the GT5 in 1998, and yep, technology has evolved a lot, AIRD is definitely not COSM 😂

Can the GX-100 (or the new GX-10) run separate outputs to front of house and an on stage guitar cab? I know it doesn't have sub outs like the GT-1000 models but wondering if there's some creative uses of the branch outs to make this setup work.

Hi Paul, I have loved your videos from the beginning. You are so natural and it just really refreshing. I have the Katana MK1 Artist and just bought the GX-100. I think I prefer the GX-100 after downloading some other people's patches. (I don't tweak much myself, as I find it very overwhelming). I have learned quite a bit about the tweaking from you however, and I just wanted to thank you. In one of your future packs for the GX100, would you please consider doing a gig ready classic rock pack of clean, boosted clean, crunch, boosted crunch, and lead tones? Thanks for considering and for all you do. Cheers! PS...I am thinking of getting rid of the Artist. I don't think I need it anymore.
