The Super 6 Podium lap! POV Racing plus some drone footage

What a great day, held onto 3rd place in FWD open class, was 1st place for much of the day. Finally getting used to not driving this like a momentum car now that I have all the power from the supercharger and the EBC yellows bite fantastic I've got amazing braking power now too, so I can brake way later and feather back on the gas immediately. All the experimentation and work Ive put into the suspension is delivering, and the changes to the exhaust may have helped a little too.
(Note: the song that starts playing after the POV racing footage, during the drone footage, is the same song I was listening to when running that lap)
Big thanks to co-driving with my son last event, all the discussion about driving style and pushing higher speeds into corners, relying on what the brakes can do now, and smoothly getting back on the gas sooner...
Honestly, this car feels like it defies physics, so much grip, and when I'm driving it feels like a much smaller car than it is, so nimble.
Special thanks to the best Skyactiv engine tuner Justin Freeman of [e-mail], he is the best tuner for any kind of gas Skyactiv (I'm bugging him to get a website setup still LoL).
Also, I managed 3rd place even though I'm only on RT615s (outdated tire design), once I upgrade to top tier 200tdw tires (RT660s, RE-71s, or A052s) that'll put me in the running to get 1st possibly, but that'll have to wait until next season...

I've come a long way with my driving, really embracing the trail-braking and trusting the grip! Oh and yes, really really impressed with what this "automatic" transmission can do, very thankful for the large multi-plate clutch being locked 95% of the time to give me all the direct power feel and avoid cooking the transmission fluid!

hell yes, getting better and better, and my driving may have improved some too (plus upgrading to EBC yellows helped the braking performance) Now I just need better tires and I may grab 1st place next year!

Please excuse my poor English.I am a Mazda owner from China. My car is a Mazda CX-4, a 2.5Lskyactive engine four-wheel drive crossover that is only sold in China. I have benefited a lot from watching your videos. Now I also want to modify the turbocharger. I have a few questions for you: 1. Do I need to replace the exhaust manifold when modifying the turbocharger kit? I need to pass the annual emission inspection in China, so I hope not to replace it; 2. What is the spark plug model you replaced?

Considering you are the pioneer of supercharging Mazda 6's I was wondering if you had any experience putting one of them on a manual transmission version as I am interested in doing so and was wondering if it would even be possible or safe.

Same I got a 2015 Mazda 6 Manual and thinking of either turbo or supercharging it

yep, Manual handles it fine, I know many people that have followed my lead but with manuals and none have had issues, though it will wear the clutch a little faster, but that's replaceable.

It's been great, 2.5 years, 30k miles, many racing events, haven't touched or changed the compressor in any way! Only thing I changed was to put a smaller pulley on this January, but managed to do it without uninstalling the supercharger assembly. Apparently I'll need to replace the belt more often than stock, every 30-50k miles, and after 100k miles I'll need to replaced the special oil that is sealed inside the gears in the supercharger (just like an Eaton TVS supercharger, since that's actually what it is internally)

I've only been once and got 14.1s, but I'm certain that I can get into the 13s with a couple more tries (plus there has been more recent progress with the tuning last month that's getting +15-20wtq and +5-15whp, so it's getting faster too)
