Really getting better with my driving technique, able to harness the suspension changes, using the over-steer and slip angle to dance around the track. Managed to hang onto 3rd again, but this time I was only 0.04 second behind 2nd place and only 0.12 second behind 1st place with worn out RT615 tires!
Have new Bridgestone RE-71RS tires ordered, which according to the driver of the 1st place car will improve my times by a full second or more, so I should be competing for 1st place in FWD open class with a Family Sedan :)
Note: the two cars that beat me each had better tires making over 300whp and have limited slip differentials, so the fact I was so close is a testament to both the setup of my Mazda6 and improvements in my driving ability.
my last three laps were: 1.07.78, 1.07.66, 1.07.54 (consistently shaving time)
