Long Covid gave me complete gut dysbiois. I have no more good gut bacteria at all and an overgrowth of the bad. I think this is where a lot of people get the histamine issue from. I have found that adding probiotics have helped restore this. I realize people say fasting always helps and there is a reasoning, your not having reactions to food. I think fixing the gut is a key player in Long Covid. Also doing some research, ive found that the good bacteria in the gut actually help the vagus nerve. There has been times when eating the wrong thing sent me into complete fight or flight and made me have a flair for a few days.

Thats exactly what i feel, i have developed very strong food addiction and always feels like eating something spicy. Sometimes i eat more than my capacity, it’s really weird

We also know that food can be an attempt to self soothe our nervous system.

Thanks Sally for your up2date on the gut,all makes good sense of the issue & no harm in trying to make your gut better,only benefits us& helps to stay calm in t his chaotic world we live in so ive been doing KETO, OMAD, intermittent fasting aswell for about 6yrs now,probably wouldn't be here if hadn't started that,lost 20-30 kgs,reversed diabetes and helped every part of my system b4 Covid hit & SHUTDOWN began 2yrs ago so been on rolllercoaster ever since but thru ymfinding you now i understand my situation as no else can or does so its a battle of mind& gut that will help us all in Body & spirit which me asns our life so GRATEFUL for your fellow human wisdom and love Sally, certsinly makes everything more tolerable!!??🤔🙏✌🌊🚿😍🌞🏞😉😎
