Spices with capsaicin are thermogenic. For 10 months I strictly followed a healthy eating plan and the fat literally melted off me. Daily I cut out ALL ultra processed foods (no packaged or convenience meals, no soda) & white carbs (rice, potato, sugar & anything with wheat). I had quality protein with every meal, half a plate of leafy greens with dinner, drank 2 liters of water, herbal tea, black coffee (no sugar) ... and the fat melted off

I have done the chilly Mindfulness thing and the burn got really intense, almost unbearable, but somehow i kept with it and it turned into meditative high with throat and tongue being the center of it.

Dr. Li, my question isn't related to fat loss, although I love this! I have EGPA and wanted to know what you would recommend with foods and what could/would help me. Also, any recommendations of foods that can help me while I'm high dose Prednisone long term? Thank you in advance ❤️. It's been a lot to figure out

I can't eat nightshades. Would fermented peppers help?

Nightshade veggies have lectins and are inflammatory. Fermentation for long periods AND removing the skin and seeds helps. Pressure cooked foods heated in water and a pressure cooker for 15 minutes of boiling time can also kill lectins. But would the food taste good?

Try hydrolyzed collagen (15g a day). boron (9mg a day), and vitamin K2 MK7 (300mcg a day or higher) with vitamin D3 and calcium AKG to improve your cartilage condition.

I would stay away from calcium supplements, it's easier to get it from foods or if it's coming from kelp you'll get more than calcium but iodine too.

@@PatraK-du8ve Since I have Hashimoto's I have doubts about iodine. Unfortunately, the information is contradictory.🤔
