The spino is a cool dinosaur. They made the mistake of making it kill the rex too easy. Its like walking up to a kid, take its favorite toy, throw it into a fire and give it a new one saying "that one is better, you like this now!!!"
@theculturedjinni6 жыл бұрын
I actually would have accepted the fight if the Spino dominated the T-rex from the start and never was caught in maw of the T-Rex since that would have resulted in instant broken neck due to the bite force. Spinosaurus itself would have been capable of killing a young T-rex(or if lucky/aggressive enough even an adult one). They needed better buildup in the movie for that to happen in good storytelling way.

I like Spino but not because it beat the Rex in the film. Up until 2001, I had no idea it even existed. I will admit that I thought they completely made it up. A quick search online showed that to be wrong. It was just completely overshadowed. I took one look and thought "that's cool". Simple as that. Coolness is my baseline, hence my personal attachment to the animal. But even I know its jaw and skull shape make for a weaker bite. I think the theory that it wasn't a "real" Spino but a prototype hybrid should exonerate it a little. A genetic freak that's more subtle on the freak side. If the theory is true, then Spino led to Indominus.
@MemesToa6 жыл бұрын
That theory actually makes a bit of sense. Given Alan's full line on Spino not being on InGen's list, "That makes me wonder what else they were up to here," kinda(unintentionally) foreshadows the I-Rex. The fact that Spinosaurus wasn't on InGen's list possibly means that the creature itself was a hybrid: Part-suchomimus, part-giganotosaurus, hint of real Spino and boom! Rex Killer!

They showed no respect to the T Rex, and that's why kids like me who was there day one for the Third time.. It was a slap in our faces as well.. I really cant blame them for having Spinosaurus defeat Tyrannosaurus Rex, because at the time, that was the scientifically believed fact. The fossil record on Spinosaurus is incredibly incomplete, and it was only several years later, that we learned more about it. Like it being quadrupedal shallow water hunter, and that it grew larger than other predators, due to water buoyancy, food availability, and lack of competition.
@theculturedjinni6 жыл бұрын
And even it being a quadrupedal shallow water hunter is still doubted by some paleontologists which have questioned the use of diffrent specimens in order to assert that. I am also kinda doubful about it considering that other spinosaurids did not have those proportions but that is something for the experts to decide upon.

I think the Spino is beautiful, what we know of it realisticly makes it one of my favorites. I also love giant monsters so as far as the movies go bringing in a bigger dino made me happy, and wouldn't mind seeing an even bigger Giga come in. That being said, I don't think the Rex and Spino ever had to meet, they could be separate threats that constantly harass the characters. A giant on land, sea, and air (possibly a Quetz) no respite for our hero's. Unfortunately I do agree now that kind of have to reestablish the Rex as the apex.
@dinomking31086 жыл бұрын
I like the spino more and i acknowledge that it would likely loose to a rex. I also make the argument that it comes down to chance, fitness, health and age as well as genetic modification (since the spino may not be fully spino DNA) I just want people to acknowledge that there were other large predators at the time, such as the Giga. These other large carnivores dont get the acknowledgement they deserve so i would like for the media and audiences to experience more of them

@nahor886 жыл бұрын
Better question yet... why did the Rex even bother chasing the humans? IT WAS ALREADY EATING A GIANT CARCASS. The first two movies made an effort to convey that dinosaurs, carnivorous or not, were ANIMALS, NOT monsters. In fact, a huge carnivore like the Rex would likely not even bother chasing a human; the calories it would expend would be more than what it would get from eating the person.
@RidiKill6 жыл бұрын
One of my biggest problems with the Spinosaurus is how it acts more like a movie monster than an animal or character. It's just an antagonist. It just...roars, chases and attacks, and that's all it does. You don't get the sense of bewildered curiousity the Tyrannosaurus in JP1 shows when it peers into the explorer and nudges it for the first time, or the parental outrage the rex parents in TLW exhibit when their offspring is threatened.
@RidiKill6 жыл бұрын
bigevilworldwide1 As has been pretty exhaustively discussed, it was not known that the dromaeosaurs would have had feathers at the time they made JP1. And beyond that, it's really just a name swap between Deinonychus and Velociraptor, which hardly offends me. I was talking about treating the animals like they're theme park attractions that exist solely to attack and scare our protagonists regardless of logic. You could argue that the raptors are a little psychotic for real animals in JP1, but the movie really nicely sets up that these animals hate captivity and resent the humans imprisoning them. Plus we get little moments that, for want of a better term, humanise the raptors (the raptor hatchling, the raptors snapping at one another to enforce hierarchy, the raptor failing to figure out Lex's reflection in the kitchen...) The Spinosaurus has been living wild on Sorna for years, surrounded by herds of prey, but for no real reason it keeps showing up to menace a small band of humans. That's what I mean about it being a movie monster and not an animal.
@XenomorphLV4265 жыл бұрын
Spino was an abused Ingen experiment. It got hit by a plane and shot at. There's an explanation.
@stiricidium22815 жыл бұрын
I love the spinosaurus and its relatives. They are my favorite dinosaurs apart from carnotaurus, but they are not equipped to take on a bone-crushing powerhouse like the tyrannosaurus rex. I think that the Ingen-cloned spinosaurus left on Sorna had a rough solitary upbringing much like the indominus. It was also very likely the company's first genetically-modified hybrid, an "accident left on Sorna." All of their cloned dinosaurs seem more robust, violent, and combat-ready than their real life counterparts though. I was also kind of disappointed about so many changes to JP3's script after I learned about it. It could have been one of the best films of the franchise if more of those details had been present in the film. Especially if the spinosaurus had been revealed to be a true theme park monster as Grant described earlier in the film. Instead we can only theorize its origins.

There’s a big reason why the Spinosaurus had to win: It was a more dangerous threat. The T-Rex is King, but the Spinosaurus was more of a threat to the humans. Spinosaurus can also swim where the T-Rex cannot. Once they got onto the river, the T-Rex wouldn’t have been able to touch them. Not until they got to the edge of the island where, after Alan had already called for a rescue, it would have to allow them to leave the island, maybe even without confronting the raptors. Henry Wu said it himself: you wanted more teeth. The T-Rex could NOT have been the big bad for a third time, it would have gotten tired and repetitive irrespective of the fans feelings towards it. I welcomed the Spinosaurus because it changed the game. The T-Rex has been proven to be defeatable. If not for the decision of wanting the Dinos to stay alive, the T-Rex is easy to take down with enough bullets from enough weapons. It’s part of the controversy in Fallen Kingdom: how easy it is to take down the T-Rex. Let JP3 stand, because having the T-Rex win every time would get old, stale, and repetitive. Just saying!!
@jurassicking101.43 жыл бұрын
Yeah, the Spino was more of a threat to people that what Trex was. Trex was a proper animal. Also, I beleive Trex would win half of the time, but not all of the time. AKA If that Trex was an adult, then I would say this battle would be 50/50. Trex can get Spino in the Spine while Spino can break Trex neck. Ex: A grizzly bear would not follow you everywhere if it sees you, but it has the power to kill you. A criminal would follow you everywhere if necessary.

I do agree that the fight was poorly done, even if the effects were awesome and full kudos to the animatronics and CGI teams. That said, I do think some folks need to calm the hell down because a part of the backlash was based off the very idea T.rex could lose a fight, which caused a lot of folks to get overdefensive and insist a T.rex could trump any dinosaur, all day, every day, and must win every fight ever. Look, it fully understand being upset; after all everyone loves the T.rex! It's the star of the franchise and I do not agree with it being killed in such a way. But we do need to understand it IS possible for it to lose. Across the fossil record their ARE dinosaurs who could have the chance to best a T.rex in a 1 on 1, upfront, no ambush or tricks fight. It wouldn't happen all the time, that just be as unrealistic as a T.rex winning all the time. But it can happen. Yes, it was wrong for the T.rex to lose in this manner. I would have much preferred it be a draw with no conclusive winner, thus keeping the T.rex badass credentials while justifying how powerful the Spinosaurus is as a competent rival and why it can be a valid alternative as a leading big theropod. But I do think some folks obsess over "restoring the T.rex's honor" a bit too much. I don't like this fight, I do like the Tyrannosaurus more than the Spinosaurus, but by this point everyone already knows the T.rex should win more. Bringing back the Spinosaurus JUST to kill it via T.rex wouldn't accomplish anything and just seem mean spirited to those who did actually like the creature and all the hard work put into creating it for cinema. Two wrongs don't make a right. When Rexy returned for the finale of Jurassic World, people didn't love it mostly because she smashed through a Spino skeleton (the act of further vindicates me in saying a rematch is unneeded), they loved it because Rexy got to throw down with a new rival and ultimately in a triumphant finale alongside other star species, triumph. You don't need the Spinosaurus dying to restore the T.rex's glory, it never left. Honestly if folks still need "closure" after 16 years of Spino bashing, I think your pride is way too easily damaged. Not talking about Klayton though, he's cool. PS: Also a shame for the fight we got as apparently in the script and visible in both concept art and a few cut scene shots, it was supposed to be MUCH longer and more intense. Ever notice the Spino never uses its claws in the fight? And the final neck bite seems to come out of nowhere? Well that's because there was multiple cut shots that would have made it a much bigger, drag-out brawl. And instead of just a necksnap, the Spino was supposed to full on pounce and tackle the Rex and smash it through several trees after recovering from a beat down. This would have made the fight a much more knock-down, drag out brawl like what we got in JW; which I think better shows off both theropods fighting at their best. As opposed to the T.rex bum rushing the Spino, who tanks through it and doesn't land a single hit until pulling a 1-hit-kill right outta nowhere without making use of its special traits.
@evanbao936 жыл бұрын
Agree with all of this. If they want the Spinosaurus to win, they should have the T. rex nearly winning the fight on dry land... until the Spinosaurus gets into the water. And then the Spino would use the water to ambush the Rex and drag it into the water when it would be helpless. It would establish that while T. rex rules the land, Spinosaurus rules the water. And it make the boat climax all the more suspenseful.

Jian Ouyang Wouldn’t that then mean the Spino Vs Rex in the movie wouldn’t really correlate with the Real life Spino Vs Rex? Hell the Spino in the movie was bipedal and and had comparatively more arm strength than the indominus rex, and its neck was tough enough to fight through a few Rex Munches. Whereas a real spino would be defeated in 1. So really the question is who would win, the genetically modified Rex or the genetically modified Spino? But it would lose to the Rex, 99 times out of 100. No real question there. Even if it was this 'altered' Spino in JP3... the Spino's long thin neck would have been snapped the second the Rex got a hold of it. The Spino just isn't made for battling large killing machines. In all reality, if the two met, the Spino would probably try a display to protect it's meal/kill, then when that failed it would run away to avoid being hurt or killed itself. Rex is the king for a reason everyone. All the dinos that are bigger are barely bigger or are smaller framed or simply longer (due to the tail). Somewhat...thats actually the topic of a video that might be out this week. As far as the naming goes, the novel explains why they call it Velociraptor instead of Deinonychus...but they still don't have feathers and the whole intelligence thing is made up. Its odd when comparing the books to the films and the material as a whole to actual science. They get so many things right...and than undo it sometimes with sequels or retcons. They started to give the raptors feathers in JP3 and even made them fully feathered in a later comic book storyline, but than abandoned the idea. I understand why but at the same time they can be pretty shaky when doing things by the book scientifically. Its an odd balance JP plays hahaha

I don't see why we need to the T-Rex and the Spinosaurus fight. We already saw Rexy fight the Indominus, a fight with a Spino can't top that. Also the trailers have thus far shown her killing a Carnatarus, probably a jab at those things be used in the Disney film Dinosaur, and the main threat of the movie they are building up is the Indoraptor. Also I don't see why that fight would hurt JP's reputation for scientific accuracy. The movies already gave Dilophosaurus a frill it didn't have in real life, based its depiction of Velociraptors around the Deinonychus, and then buffed the size up even more. That said I do feel it was stupid to kill an iconic part of the franchise and try to replace it. Especially since the T-Rexes in the earlier films, nothing about the Spinosaurus' behavior seemed believable and it just acted like a generic movie monster who attacks the main characters for no reason.

I think it'd be interesting if they retconned it to be that the spino in JP3 was actually a sort of proto-indominus rex. What I mean by that is that maybe the reason it wasn't on InGen's list is because it's actually an experimental dino. It would explain why it's so different from the real life spino, and it would sorta fix some of the glaring plotholes of the past.

Klayton, I'm a big fan of your videos. But this just seemed a liiitle like another one of those "Team T-Rex" rants. I myself am a huuuge fan of Rexy, and the first two JP movies have been an indispensable part of my childhood, but I liked the fact that they had the guts to go on a different route for JP3. Sure, the movie wasn't anywhere near as good as the original, but the move to include an even larger theropod that can potentially defeat a Rex was quite bold and I quite liked it. They didn't do a very good job of the execution of the idea (making the Spino kill the Rex within minutes like it's nothing), but I believe it could've been quite easily plausible. Especially considering the Spino in Isla Sorna was not a normal dino but a genetically modified super-hybrid, as hinted by Henry Wu's log entry as the "accident left in Sorna". Personally I like neither the Rex nor the Spino more than the other. I'm a fan of both as they're both incredible, awe-inspiring creatures. But saying outright that the T. rex should've obviously/undoubtedly won against the Spino no-matter-what is either a bit shortsighted or a bit biased. The Jurassic World bit where Rexy breaks through the Spino skeleton was quite a cheeky move though; I loved it! And I think that leaves the scales quite well balanced between Rexy and Spino. And I'd love it to stay that way, 'cause I love them both. Would love to know what you think. Do reply if possible.

Based on the knowledge at the time of the Spinosaurus's stance and body, in a way, I didn't have a problem with the Spinosaur winning. As at the time it was thought to be a larger bipedal predator with longer arms and longer claws on its hands. In that, it is well within reason to guess that the Spinosaurus would have the ability to slash at the Rex with its claws and essentially drag the fight out... And scientifically there IS evidence that Spinosaurus did on occasion run into predators larger than T-Rex, though it is a relative of Allosaurus, and that it survived the encounter. In that, it is fair to provide some assumption that the Spinosaurus COULD win... The problem that Jurassic Park 3 had was the WAY in which they had the Spinosaurus win. As while the Spinosaurus is bigger than Tyrannosaurus Rex, that doesn't mean that simply being bigger means one always wins. We can see this in modern animals today, where you see wolves, at most weighing just over 100 pounds and usually only average around 80 pounds, successfully killing bison, which can weigh over 2,000 pounds. Or if one is looking specifically for one on one fights, look to Asia, where the Bengal Tiger, weighing 500+ pounds can and does kill Guar, the world's LARGEST wild cattle... or in Amur River Valley where the Siberian Tiger weighing 600+ pounds can and has at times killed Eurasian Brown Bears, which can weigh over 800 pounds. Size can be an advantage, but it is not the SOLE advantage. Yet, Jurassic Park 3 treated that fight as though the only thing that mattered was the Spinosaur's larger size. Thus the T-Rex's bite force was completely ignored... or made irrelevant, and the Spinosaurus was easily able to break the Rex's grip on it and then turn and snap the Rex's neck in a close on fight that based on what we knew on the Spinosuarus at the time... it probably WOULDN'T have engaged in. While it was thought to be bipedal at the time the movie was made, it was still thought to have longer arms when compared to other theropods and hand longer claws its hands. As such, one would think that in any confrontation, it would use its longer arms to help protect itself and its sail... not rush in close the way they had it in the movie.

Zaesty - Bison aren't predators, true, but neither are they docile. Just because they aren't predators doesn't mean they're safe to approach. In fact, more Americans every year are KILLED by bison and cattle than are mauled by ALL of North America's predators combined. An animal that weighs a ton and with a bison's temperament is a highly powerful animal and can and often DOES fend off attacks once at full size. That does NOT stop wolves from hunting them. And the other example included the Siberian Tiger, the largest tiger in the world, periodically hunting the Eurasian Brown Bear... and while the bear isn't the largest Brown Bear (that goes to the Kodiak Brown Bear), it is STILL bigger and stronger than the Tiger. Yet, naturalists have documented cases where the Siberian Tiger has not only hunted the bear but done so successfully. That means the bear lost the engagement, despite being "bigger and stronger." And in the comparison between the Spinosaurus and Tyrannosaurus Rex, it REALLY isn't a comparison where the Spinosaurus's larger size is really that much of a factor. Yes, it's bigger, but it's not so much bigger that it dwarfs the T-Rex. It's like comparing two boxers with one weighing 240 pounds and the other weighing 249 pounds. Yes the second is bigger, and likely has more muscle mass... but it's not so much so that the first is dwarfed by the second and both would probably be in the same weight bracket. And in looking at the fossil record between the two... the movie's depiction of the Spinosaurus is inaccurate. Even for its time, the Spinosaurus was thought to be far more aquatic and an eater of fish. It was not actively hunting other dinosaurs on land. In contrast, the Tyrannosaurus was a terrestrial predator that preyed on various armored dinosaurs and ceratopsians. And that shows the major differences between the two. It gave the T-Rex its much larger and more robust teeth and a bite force that is not equaled by any other land carnivore to date. This allowed it to crush the heavy bones of the animals it ate, and this would apply even if one subscribes to the theory that T-Rex was a scavenger... though there have been Duck Billed Dinosaurs that have been found that had bite wounds that could have only been made by T-Rex and showed signs of healing, which means that the animal was attacked while alive and SURVIVED the attack... which pretty much puts a hole in the T-Rex was just a scavenger argument. And that's where the JP3 fight falls flat. A Spinosaurus's skeleton is not stronger than that of Ankylosaurus or Triceratops. In that, once the Rex gets a hold of its neck, despite the Spinosaurus's size, it is not going to be able make the Rex lose its grip just by giving a little shake that it does in the move. Its bones aren't going to stand up to a T-Rex's bite force and in such a situation... they'd be snapped, regardless of what one thinks of the Spinosaurus's size and strength. And one needs to remember that since JP3 was made, the scientific theories regarding Spinosaurus have changed. Yes, the animal is still thought to weigh more than Tyrannosaurus, but most paleontologists today think the animal was far shorter and primarily a quadruped, which a T-Rex would tower over. A Spinosaurus might be able to rear up on its hind legs, but it's long body and sail would make doing so difficult and as such the animal wouldn't do so on a regular basis.

@@SamuelJamesNary None of the dinosaurs in the spinosauradia family is quadroped. How do you assume that the animal evolved into a quadroped in such short notice, huh? Besides the only complete skeleton set of Spinosaurus was the one which was destroyed during WW2. According to that skeleton there is no way that animal was quadroped. The new discoveries are made by typically using mismatched bones to suit a purpose.

@@oconnor6456 - The other relatives are also much smaller, have narrower torso in terms of the length of the shoulder to the hip, and there is enough of the skeleton to indicate that the legs are well longer than the arms. And while the first skeleton is no longer available, it should be noted that at the time, it was discovered, ALL theropods were built largely the same way, and thus Tyrannosaurus and Allosaurus were thought to be "closely" related at the time. It took a while to figure out that T Rex and A Fragilis were NOT closely related. It'd thus stand to reason that Spinosarus would have been assumed to be a just another version some existing theropod, but with a sail. And a lot of those theories didn't begin to change until after WW2 when the original Spinosaurus skeleton was burned to ash... But no, the new discoveries on Spinosaurus made years ago, when my earlier comments were made, were not made to "suit a purpose." There would be no purpose in doing so. Things could have been made in error based on the information at hand, and the scientists in question, through the result of pear review, countering later papers based on other evidence, and on new discoveries... have changed their statement that Spinosaurus was not a strict quadruped. However, they also found that there bones weren't truly "mismatched" and that Spinosaurus' ability to stand on two legs has more to do with perceived strength in its hips that would allow it to stand on two legs... but it would still have longer arms and shorter legs, which would still mean that it would not be graceful on land or anything close to what is portrayed in Jurassic Park 3.

@@SamuelJamesNary Not really true. The actual skeleton of Spinosaurus that Stormer found was in Egypt. The one nizam Ibrahim based his unusual alien of an animal was found in Morocco. There are two different species of Spinosaurus which Nizam and his crew intentionally ignored for their own beliefs. What I meant about mismatched bones are Nizam and his unearthed parts of bones that belonged to some animal which they concluded to be Spinosaurus because the bones were similar. There was no full skeleton sample as produced by them. Those bones could have belonged to a baby or juvenile or some other animal from the same family. Instead they simply jumped upto a conclusion, put on their new model by using their mismatched bones with the existing Spinosaurus bones and drew a false conclusion which turned the laws off evolution completely on its head. Their specific was so ridiculous that something like that could never have existed in any circumstances. Nizam said that the bony sail of the Spinosaurus served a similar purpose as that of the sail fish or Marlins. News flash, fish bones and the Spinosaurus bones have nothing in common, my man. Besides Stormer's full set of skeleton, devoid of any bones perfectly fitted for the animal to have stood up on its hind legs. I wonder how they managed to do that if its legs and hips wasn't long enough to fit that posture. Aka you can't make a full set T-Rex skeleton suddenly look like an oversized duck by replacing a few bones. Likewise you can't make a duck to stand up like an ostrich by replacing a few bones. That's not how things work. These supposed new discoveries and theories as you so eloquently put has as much weight to it as the theory some scientists proposed that the Brachiosaurus was aquatic because it was too big and too heavy to move on land. Where is the proof that states that the Spinosaurus was a cold blooded animal? You just have to look at the final model proposed by Nizam and his crew to know that it's fucking bullshit. It's totally ridiculous picture. No animal ever that ever lived on this earth looked like that.

@@oconnor6456 - The location of where something is found really proves nothing. And we can see this with modern animals... For example the Leopard, Panthera Pardus lives across Asia and Africa and has the largest extant range of any Pantherine cat. Which shows that animals can move their geographic ranges, and much of northern Africa was fairly wet in the early Cretaceous when Spinosaurus lived, so there is no real reason to say that it's going to stay in any one small area. And the fact that smaller but similarly built animals have been found in Asia and South America would indicate that Spinosaurus had to have a fairly good sized range in order to have that kind of influence. And in addition, much of what Stromer found, ALSO seems to be fairly fragmentary. Photos from 1915 do not show a complete skeleton, but various bits and pieces that would show part of the jaw and the spines, from which the animal got its name. Which would mean that a lot of what the real-life animal, as reconstructed by Stromer, would have still LOOKED more like what scientists thought theropods of the time looked like but with the clear differences that Spinosaurus had. But because that specimen was also incomplete, that does not mean that it's suddenly going to be the most "accurately" reconstructed. The newer specimens have been more complete and have largely been collected from the same area. In this, I find it highly unlikely that the bones were mismatched from other species, as there would have been a report of the find having Spinosaurus dying near or in combat with another animal. I've seen no report on anything like that being found. Thus, nothing would truly be mismatched. And while Ibrahim may have had errors in the use of the sail, but corrections and counter arguments made by Holtz have said nothing on Spinosaurus being a long-legged hunter. Holtz merely made the point that it was likely that Spinosaurus waded on the shore of a river, like a stork, and wasn't quite as aquatic as Ibrahim hypothesized. Holtz didn't change the body plan. And also keep in mind... when Dinosaurs were first found, there really wasn't anything alive on Earth that Dinosaurs really looked like either. So, arguing that new discoveries are "different" doesn't necessarily prove anything.

Why has literally NOBODY mentioned that fact that the animals in Jurassic Park are NOT dinosaurs? Alan Grant himself said it in the beginning of 3. "What InGen did at Jurassic Park was create genetically engineered theme park monsters, nothing more." ...That's why the "Velociraptors" are fucking huge. That's why the "Spinosaurus" walks on two legs and why it is more vicious and more deadly than the Rex. Literally every single thing wrong with the information given in these movies can be explained away by simply saying ..."Genetics" Personally, I feel if they went up against each other again, the Spino should win, because it's been established, not because I'm a fan of one or the other, but because I'm a fan of continuity. The Monster that they created using DNA of the Spinosaurus is more dangerous than the monster that they created using the DNA of the Tyrannosaurus. This does NOT speak in terms of what would have happened in real life. People need to learn to enjoy a fucking movie and stop bitching. Also, if you feel it's needed to justify what is the equivalent of your "home team" losing a game (Rex losing to Spino) all you need to do is look into what folks are finding in regards to Jurassic World 2. Someone found a hidden log from Dr. Wu talking about how the Spinosaurus was more than just a Spinosaurus and could quite possibly be the FIRST modified dinosaur and a precursor to the Indominous. THAT would also explain why the Spinosaurus wasn't on the list. Basically, the Spinosaurus is more deadly than Rexy because it's more than just a Spinosaurus.

The 2014 short legged spino was proved wrong in 2016. And for all t rex fanboys who say that t rex would still have destroyed the real life spino how could spinosaurus defend itself against a carnevore the same size as a t rex (charadontosaurus) And then the t Rex fanboy would mostlikely say that spinosaurus never went on land but thats a lie. Theres evidence that spinosaurus also hunted on land and layed egg on land. if spinosaurus is as useless as you t Rex fanboys make the creature seem like it would have been a free meal for the charadontosaurus. And if your still saying that t Rex super bite force would destroy spino have you looked at spinosaurus claws? There was made a documentery about them and that they could slash cardoors into peaces. Not saying one is better then the other but a equal match😉😉 60% to the t rex. Beacuse t Rex is a more developed carnevore then the charadontosaurus.

The fight was a cheapy copout. The fatal bite by the Rex on the Spinosaurus' neck should have killed it. If they want to kill a T-Rex, they have to respect the T-Rex as a character. Everyone has their own image of it. A lot of us believe the Rex should have held its own longer. It would have bolstered both the T-Rex and especially the Spinosaurus as characters. Basically the spinosaurus is just an indominus Rex but has the look of a spinosaur. It’s a hybrid that pretty much just slaughters everything as the spinosaurus was a mistake and wasn’t meant to be made. But in all seriousness in a land based fight the spinosaurus wouldn’t last very long at all.
