@@borgullet3376 I gotta say, as someone who studies storytelling and screenwriting, I can't argue with you there. However, THIS is one of those films that you have to be from LA to appreciate. And that's not an excuse, it's just what is. Some films just like some art is strictly for a niche audience. That's this film and a lot of David Ayer films. I grew up in LA. From birth to 1 1/2 years old, I lived in the West Adams District. The same place David Ayer and Conejo (The villain in the film) grew up. And until I was six years old, I went to grade school in the same neighborhood. (24th Street Elementary School). It's a nostalgic film. And I personally knew White dudes like "Creeper." Real "Chicano Blancos". This wasn't some "race swap." There were real Wight dudes who grew up with Chicanos. They were Mexican at heart and soul. Same with my people I personally know Wight dudes who "grew up Black." I love this movie. It's in my soul.

Taking another human life is never what you think it feels like, even though they may deserve it, you have to kill most of what we call a soul to be fine with killing. As an Infantryman, I’ve seen enough but it’s the soulless people walking on the street that can turn and kill in a heartbeat if they wanted to, those are the ones that make me somewhat paranoid (paranoia is a heightened state of awareness, nothing more or less.). The hard question you have to face when someone tries to take your life is what will you do? If you’re open to advise, you must attack with all you have, scream and hit and gouge out his/her eyes and do it as fast as possible, no matter what kind of weapon they have, if you can’t easily run away to live, attack fast and ferociously until one walks away alive.

I watched the whole movie and I can't remember if I noticed that he had cauliflower ears. An important touch for this character.

This movie was so good. Loosely based on the true story about the homie, if you know you know, may he Rest In Peace. What’s crazy is the dude who’s this is loosely based on was the only OG/Made member from the neighborhood that Shia grew up in and is from.

That's amazing that they mixed the score to drown out the dialogue. Very avant garde and artsy👏

We. Want. Another. Movie. Only. About. CREEPER! Shia's performance was so damn good foo!

We need a movie about how creeper came to be.

I can see a lot of parallels between Creeper and a mix between Arthur and Tommy Shelby from Peaky Blinders. He has a lot pent up rage like Arthur but at the same time can be cold and calculated like Tommy. The movie definitely surpassed my expectations.
