What's amazing about the movie is how real, heavy and loud shooting looks and sounds, very close to real thing especially given the fact they didn't have big budget and that movie is like 4o years old. Off course wielding two heavy guns with some precision is borderline impossible however in this contest it does make sense, he is a robot after all.

Compare the scenes from the first part, where he breaks into a hotel and immediately shoots, or where he breaks into a police station, with the scene from the second part where he leisurely walks towards the policements, letting them shoot at himself. The first part is better filmed.

He attacks suddenly and quickly, without giving a victim a chance. In the second part, he walks leisurely, allowing himself to be shot. It is enough to compare how many the police hit him in the first part and how many in the second, where he allowed himself to be riddled with bullets. In the first part, he looks more realistic.

@@DJ_Force Its not that T-1000 was "nicer," just better programmed to stay locked on target and not get distracted, plus with its upgraded specs even high powered explosives were useless so it could ignore more "irrelevants." T-1000 is absolutely a more efficient and monstrously persistent killer. Mass murder just wasn't its objective at the moment.

Kyle Reese: Nobody goes home. Nobody else comes through. It's just him and me. T2: Well, turns out a few more came through.

For those who don't know. The catchphrase "I'll be back" was born here by complete accident. In the original script the line was supposed to be "I'll come back" but Arnold had trouble pronouncing the line in his Austrian accent so he changed it, and the rest is history

I enjoyed T2 but I thought there were too many jokes and I found the liquid metal creature much more far-fetched than the first Terminator. What I liked about the first Terminator is that it gets damaged but keeps going, it's almost plausible that a cyborg like that could one day exist, whereas the liquid metal thing is totally impossible, it's more like a spirit than a cyborg.
