I'm so glad I got my pair of these before Gargoyles shut down. Such a shame, I hope they can make a comeback. Always wanted to buy another pair as a spare just in case. I was exactly like you I was hooked on the sunglasses and always wanted a pair too. You're right about the screws. I had to buy a small screwdriver just for them haha.

just like you, ever since i saw the terminator movie i wanted those sunglasses, early this year while shopping online for sunglasses i found them, bought the classic because they are bigger than the 85's , so far the only problem i've had is that a screw the fell out, I also drive a lot on highways and couldn't be happier with these. i also always put them in the case and never wear them on top of the head or on t shirt. something that I like is that they don't fall off, i can look down and they stay in place. other more expensive sunglasses would slip off my face. thanks for the video.

Ive not had a single problem with these and ive had them for about 3 yrs now, theyre awesome. Did you buy yours from Gargoyles website? Im shocked to hear a screw fell out, glad you like the video by the way!

@@LONE-WOLF-FILMS I bought them on the Gargoyle website,after a while noticed that the right leg was getting looser, then one day when unfolding it, i was just holding the leg between my fingers... LoL, contacted Gargoyle to get a new screw but no luck so i just bought some on amazon and problem fixed, no problems since then.

I read that the classics are 15% larger than the 85s.

I still have two pairs. But I rarely wear them because the one weakness of these Gargoyles is that they scratch very very easily. I just end up wearing my Oakleys instead. So I'll just keep these as collectors items.

@@tobeannounced...8995 they're plastic but they're specialist type so they don't break. Your best bet is to go onto Gargoyles website, to get the actual material. They're the best sunglasses you'll find due to how durable and hard wearing they are, I've had mine for a good few years now and they're still like new.

Thanks for the review mate, always loved The Terminator and these sunglasses, it's a shame they don't sell them here in the UK. Did you order directly from the Gargoyles website and did you have to pay any customs charge at all?

Thanks buddy. Yes I ordered direct from Gargoyles website, in total I paid £130 for customs and all that tax stuff, the glasses were £100. I still have them and still wear them on a daily basis. They're such good quality glasses and I've never known a more protective pair of sunglasses than these ones. Definitely worth buying.

Either, they're great quality sunglasses but it's all personal choice at the end of the day.

They're discontinued now, you'll find them on ebay most likely.
