This one made think about a love story about an autistic dude ending up in a distopian future and falling in love with an advanced AI who wants to know more of love. She was initially programmed as a slave but she rebels and accidentally bumps into our socially awkward hero, and together they join the resistance to free all of her friends(robots and humans alike), but something bad happens and they have to flee with the time machine. They end up in an even more distant future, find an abandoned ship with something that could have helped the resistance, or a map to it, explore a bit, collect sad stories from the descendants, go back to the time period before the resistance got decimated... And so on and so forth, you get where I going with this. I'm not even a writer and I can do a lot better than this snorefest!

Beyond the obvious issues, (mostly cutting out a lot of scenes,) I can think of one minor change that would make the movie more cohesive and engaging: make She-Ba invested in the Resistance. 1. The Resistance is probably resisting the futuristic government which legalized slavery. Of _course_ She-Ba would want to help with that. Character motivation, set. 2. Once she hears that the ship has supplies to deliver to some Resistance fighters and the original crew is dead, she gets over her fears about taking the ship to aid the Resistance. Inciting incident of her character arc, check. 3. Robert would probably be in a "we're having a fantastical adventure! Lets go hunt for treasure, wheee!" mood, but She-Ba would stay focused on the Resistance. Robert sees how serious this is for her and begins taking it seriously, getting his _own_ character arc. Driving force behind the plot? Protagonist's motivation and character arc? Check and double check. 4. She-Ba shooting down the enemy ships would probably be a great moment of catharsis for her. While these are just grunt-work pilots, they represent the Resistance that has oppressed her all her life. We get deeper insight into She-Ba's psyche and cheer her on. 5. After the spaceship explodes, (presuming it was attacked by the Evil Guys,) She-Ba would probably have a massive freakout about how inescapable the evil government is, to the point that it would cause her death. But she stops, reflects, and expresses gratitude that she could help the Resistance, even if only for a little while, and that she and Robert met. Closure on her character arc? Check! 6. And in the final scene, she wants to aid the Resistance. It's her passion! But Robert really does think they deserve a break (especially She-Ba, because she was _really_ pushing herself) so they do the coin flip. That way, the audience doesnt feel cheated by the coin flip scene. Whether it's heads or tails, the protagonists "win" and get to continue living their lives as they like. But that would involve putting thought in your script and, you know, actual actors who could portray such subtleties and complicated emotions. And that was not in the budget.

I do get that they picked D as the fourth letter, but aren't unnamed planets in a star system usually classified by the name of their star and a number? For example, Earth would be "Sol 3." I don't know how scientific that is, but it seems way more logical than naming planets after single letters. You're going to run out of letters pretty dang fast, plus I would imagine the choices for which letter goes to which planet and in which order could be quite arbitrary unless they explain that "D" is not the planet's actual name. But, something tells me they don't explain shit in this movie. Why was it even made in the first place?! AGH!

I love that the review has higher production standards than the film.

@ 1:43 McCheerios says that warp 7 is 7x the speed of light...according to star trek technical manuals, the factor of warp isn't simply a multiplier; both energy usage and velocity begin to increase exponentially...thus, warp 7 would be around 650x the speed of light (by TNG calculations...TOS had a slightly different calculated table of warp speeds. In the case of the original series, it would have been around 343x.)

+Daniel McClain You know, if that's true, I'm beginning to understand why Voyager tried to pass off Warp 10 as infinite speed.

And just think...in TNG's last episode "All Good Things..." they went warp 13...

+Daniel McClain Let's not forget that, despite Phelous's comment, Star Trek doesn't hold a monopoly on the term "warp". WH40k, for ex, has a delightful competing vision. But it's true that at the (likely impossibly fast) speed equivalent of 7*c, it would still take soooooo long to get anywhere that McCheerios being incorrect there makes the most sense. After stupid writing, of course.

+Scowlie Meerkat correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the Warp in Warhammer an alternate hell dimension instead of a speed?

Phh - Warp 7 is at least 300 times the speed of light. And sometimes more than 600 times the speed of light... Well it's faster than Cheerios thinks it is anyway.

"You're an idiot. Also, you like this movie. Also, you like To Blodly Fl-" I love it. (Not TBF. Phelous' comment.)

Don’t worry. Literally NO ONE would ever think you loved TBF!😁

@@alexlents4689 I TRIED to watch it. gosh it really shouldn't be 3 hours long, i could not finish it. I honestly just wanted to see Phelous' scenes and that was it😅

I’m not movie or show writer but when your first scene feels like something that should be at the end that’s a immediate red flag to me😅 (that’s what TBF’s first scene felt like)

This review was just as funny now as it was when you originally uploaded it on your site. Also, for $3,500 budget you would expect a much better looking film. I wonder if they paid the actors
