@@xDarthSTYXx It was leading to A reactor, not THE reactor. The Death Star had multiple reactors for overal functioning, and a MAIN reactor for, wait for it.... THE ENGINE. The laser was composed for multiple reactors as well, as the multi-focus laser proves. The main problem for the Death Star was allways the engine, how to move such a massive thing, both in real space and hyperspace.

If this had been filmed and put into a scene in "Return of The Jedi," it would've made for a great scene. To see Grand Master Yoda as a 'Force Ghost' telling Emperor Palpatine that he was going to ultimately lose everything.

It depends. In the context of the 1983 theatrical release, it would have just been a spoiler. This sort of thing is a better fit for other media, i.e. short stories, comics, etc. Also, see my comment in this main thread about the ROTJ novelization.

I think we can also handwave this exception to Dark Side Corruption in that Yoda was just so powerful in the Force, he could literally get right in Palpatine's face. But only for a short time. I would have loved to see Yoda troll Palpatine about how he was about to loose embarrassingly, but A) Manifesting as a Force ghost probably takes a lot of energy, especially before someone who normally wouldn't be able to see them B) Yoda would risk spoiling the nasty surprises that Palpatine was about to receive, and potentially ruin said surprises (all Palpatine had to do was order the fleet to engage ship-to-ship, rather than using his fancy new superweapon, and keep the fighters from entering the Death Star, and tear it apart from the inside out like a bunch of little nasty parasites) C) If we accept that there is an afterlife in the Star Wars universe, I could see Yoda lecturing and trolling Palpatine shortly before he is sent to hell (or while traveling to his new body). D) After being defeated for a final time (either in Dark Empire, or TROS, whichever you prefer), I could see Palpatine being sentenced to his own personal hell: having to spend eternity with Yoda. And/or being tied to a tree and having to listen to friendly forest critters every day.

interestingly, to show up to someone as ghost, you need to have a strong connection, so maybe thats what palps was able to: form a secret connection to yodas mind and thats why he could outplay yoda - and that may even explain why yoda went into hiding, suspecting that he was the connection-leak-mind. the worst part for sideous was, that there are two new enemies, he didnt have a connection with so they are rather unpredictable for him.

The Morits Gods and or the Whills or even Bendu do not consider themselves part of a "side" and considering the Whills taught the Jedi who knew... I do not think it is exclusive, like any skills practice hard enough you will learn something. I only saw it as there were only 4 or 5 people who knew it even existed. Why do you think when Emperor took the Jedi temple after he killed the Jedi? Why was he continuing to search for Jedi Relics and other temples, the man was consumed with learning power... force ghosting like the world between worlds I could see being on the top of the list... if he even knew the power existed, doesn't matter if he could learn it, it would still be a knowledge like cheating death he would want. Holocrons maybe "specific" to class, but if I handed you a lock, you wouldn't be able to open it either. 🤷
