Partial broadcast of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, taped off (likely) KNDU Richland on October 5th, 1998 minus commercials. This includes just the monologue and Headlines. The Bette Midler interview (also included on the tape) has been posted elsewhere on KZbin. Headlines begin at 7:48 and is missing the intro bumper. There's a hilarious headline about a bald eagle, and a bootleg band that may or may have not sang the hit song "September".

Great stuff. Jay and Kevin were so talented and funny. Wish they were back on late night TV (2023). I haven't watched the Tonight Show since they left.

I think I've only watched Jimmy Fallon twice or three times, and never a whole show. Late night TV is SO BORING nowadays and predictable. Leno, Carson, and Letterman made late night TV appointment viewing. Colbert, Fallon, and Kimmel are making it boring. - Taylor
