Frankenstein was very impressive. A masterpiece. In a few weeks Dracula is coming put in a Dutch translation; really looking forward to that one. I also love Magnetic press, mostly for their translations of the bande dessine. I have around 10-15 their comics and my favorite so far are Naja, Zaya and Darryl Openworld

Magnetic Press production values are really high but, unfortunately, this makes the prices not as affordable as they should be. I understand the North American market is still very resistant to these kind of European formats and comics forcing publishers to limit their print run and recur to self-financing platforms such as Kickstarter which is a shame because these should be more widely available. Still, together with Humanoids, Fantagraphics and a few other publishers the “walll” is being breached and there are so many authors and titles that deserve to be made available to the broader English market. Yeah, it's a rough time out there for publishers right now. It's pretty tough to be able to bring nice collections to market, which is why translating proven material to English is, at least, a little less risky! Hopefully, one day, the market can be a little less volatile and allow publishers to not have to rely so much on crowdfunding and huge preorders.

Talked to them and no help on frontier Kickstarter slipcase or carbon silicon slipcase availability. Took 2 weeks for a reply to just say check the store from time to time

This year is the 10th anniversary! MP has been nominated for at least one Eisner every year since inception and this year finally won an Eisner! :D
