John only played one new song in St Louis and it was “Why does anyone have to go?” He changed up things every night except for a couple of things. He also used the loop pedals several times on guitar and also on piano. Great show.

Years ago the question of who is your all time favorite guitarist came up at work. All the usual names came up. When it was my turn I said that I’d never heard any of those guys live but I had seen John Mayer live twice and He maybe the best guitarist alive. This was around 2006. The looks and comments i got in that moment still tickle me to this day. “Seriously, the guy that sings your body is a wonderland? 😂

Haha, I've been a fan of John's since I picked up Room for Squares for my ex-wife as a romantic gift in the late 90s. Body is a wonderland was the song that hooked me and was so glad to hear it in Vancouver. As a guitar player myself I have always recognized his talent. ❤

It's a pity that his previous record company, with which he was associated for so many years, did not promote John's musical talent outside the US, because in many countries he is not as popular as in the US. Why has Sting been to my country 11 times but John never? I guess that's a rhetorical question. My country - Poland is a very musical nation and John's music, his talent would be appreciated by many fans here, but it takes a long time to popularize talent, not to mention organizing concerts. That's a real pity....😂😞

How am I spoiling anything? The title is as self explanatory as I can make it. If you are not watching any live footage, not following any of the JM accounts on Instagram, and going to that level of extremes to not know anything about the shows - then cool. I’m not gonna avoid talking about the tour and great moments for the small percent of my audience that are like that. It’s no different than any of the other videos I’ve done on the tour so far, and I did the same thing for the Sob Rock tour. So saying I’m “spoiling for views” is just blatantly wrong.

Angela is correct. He changes up almost every show. He takes requests and reads signs in the crowd for ideas.
