The best things about attending/watching majors is meeting up with friends and the atmosphere of a shared viewing experience. There is something about the shared energy of people enjoying moments in fighting games that is so special. It's just like watching a sports/wrestling/live concert in person. There is nothing like it.

The builds look great! Always a lot of creativity and ideas that are so inspiring for making new controllers. Great vid as always, Hush! As for what I love about majors, I love watching players, even relatively unknown ones, and learning from them about what I can integrate into my own gameplay, even if they don't play my same character. There's always more to learn and integrate, so having new footage is always hype.

Best part of majors for me has to be the crowd. Whenever a something big happens or a major upset and you hear the roar of the crowd. It just makes me smile :3

In the Discord server, we got to see the progress of 'The Business Stick'; great to see it featured here! The Sonic and Tails builds are wild, but my favorite this month is probably that 2.5D art printed all-button. I personally don't add art, but this one is so clean; I could come up with some ideas for something like this!

I’ve been attending Evo every year since 2018 and my favorite part about attending majors is being able to hang out with my friends in a space where tons of other people share our interests in fighting games. One year ago I started up a local tournament and it’s been great planning to attend Evo with a lot of my tournament regulars. We are planning to take some group photos, represent our scene and just overall have a great time!

Really diggin those dual stick builds. I wonder how well they'd work for Smash and Rivals. Did you change mics for the last couple videos? The audio seemed slightly different. My favorite thing about majors is seeing how differently the people at the top level play a game I've put a lot of time into myself. It's inspiring and makes me wanna get better at the games too.

Yeah, the dual stick builds are pretty fascinating. Really opens up some other genres. Re the sound: It shouldn't be different, but my kids have been re-dubbing Ninja turtle scenes with my gear, so there is likely more kid spit on the mic than normal. IDK. Thanks for watching, dude!

Thinking about getting a custom stick built. I want to go all out with the artwork and theming, I have some ideas that would hopefully take it beyond just a stock stick with custom art and require a little more engineering. If it weren't for that I would just order a standard design and commission some artwork for it.

My favorite thing about majors (I was Final Round attendee for several years before Covid axed it) was the arcade /BYOC sections. Now that arcades have basically died in NA seeing a room full of beaming cabs and hearing clacking buttons is something every "arcade stick" and "leverless controller" user should experience at least once in their life. Queing up to a cab IRL is G O D L I K E and can't be beat.

Personally use a Qanba pearl with the Sanjuks V3 Premium joystick. tried to go leverless but the paradise mpress was not wide enough for me and I don't want to ruin the art on my fightstick by going leverless on my current stick. Thinking about a snack box XL + 3d printing something to make it wider.

I'm considering to go the hitbox route, but since I play mostly on PC I'm pondering to get a decent keyboard instead. Besides of the n-key rollover, what else do you recommend me to have in a decent keyboard for fighting games specifically?

Hmmm, I'm probably not the best one to ask since I'm so deep into the fightsticks and all-button controllers, I have done very little modding on actual keyboards. So instead of guessing, I'd steer you toward a keyboard subreddit or discord (or maybe even one of the fightstick discords) for a better answer. Thanks for watching and sorry this wasn't more help!

Combo breaker 2024 was my first major and I can say that the free pistachios were my favorite part as well as all the friendly faces and hype surrounding top 8s for all the games I saw played. It was a surreal experience, seriously, free pistachios??? Crazy

Oh, I should have been more specific. Majors are like big fighting game events beyond the usual local meet-ups. Usually they are big events, so things like Combo Breaker, CEO, and EVO. (You can attend in person to watch or compete, or you can watch them livestreamed on Twitch/youtube) Thank you for your very nice comment and I am glad you found some of it useful!

Majors are fun to watch because it's a chance for pros to show off all that they have learned and then execute that in a hyper-compettitive setting. Every time I watch a big tourney I see stuff that I didn't even know was possible.

The thing I love most about watching majors is seeing the camaraderie between players. Even though in the end of each match one will win and one will lose they know how much heart, time, and emotion the other put into the match. The FGC is so goated.
