In college, Terry Cummings saw Teddy Grubbs, come off the bench and score 29 points against UCLA. Instead of resigning himself to sitting behind Grubbs he said, either Teddy is going to sit or someone else is going to sit. I came here to play. Teddy sat. Teddy Grubbs was maybe the most highly recruited player of his time and Terry Cummings benched him. Outworked him, out toughed him. It changed the trajectory of Teddy Grubbs life.

The story Vernon M . Told about Buck Williams, reminds me of the altercation between Carmelo Anthony and Mardy Collins. When Melo was in Denver.Carmelo was killing the Knicks in that game. And after 1 dunk, Mardy C told Melo if he do that again , he would whoop Melo's ass. The next play Anthony dunks on Collins, and Mardy Collins went after CA. But Carmelo run away😅😅😂. You can watch that clip on the net. Man, I have mad respect to Anthony as a player. And for me he is in the top 3 pure scorers off all time. And I kind off feel bad that he hasn't a championship in his resume. But on that play Mardy C , by the way fringe NBA player and only solid Europlayer owned Mello s ass.🎉

It's disgraceful what players today get away with. Let Jerry West be able to do some of that and see what he would have done, and add in a 3 point line and watch that man get down!

@@tommyfu9271 Indeed he would! One thing that today's players lack in general is: They are soft and entitled brats compared to the OG's, and they don't have the same competitive fire; and the 3-point line and how it's utilized today with certain teams and their systems, has ruined the game to some degree.
