Nice to read Jim! Its a easy one, but maybe not so easy if you not used to Bockingford.

What a lovely range of colours Edo. Yes, it’s very 'Wesson'. Thank you very much, I enjoyed watching your delicate brushwork, which is what you excel at. - something I should work on.

A simple palette is the key. With just a few you can make fresh harmonieus work. Thank you very much 😊

Wow! So inspiring. Just what I needed to help me get started again. I thought I was safe not wearing headphones while my husband read in the same room. He suddenly jumped up and said "What the bloody hell is that?" when the cockerel blurted out! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Thank you.

Haha, sorry about that. I did showed it to my wife. She responded I would zap away immediately! Horrible! So I made another version. English with a far east from England Amsterdam accent. Thanks for watching.

Thank you, Edo. I am going outside to paint today and this was helpful to get me into the mood. I watched it while exercising on my rowing machine. I also use 200 # Bockingford. Why do you paint on the backside? I have never considered that. I am also going to put light red back on my palette. It is just too useful for landscape painting!

Thanks Mike, I paint only on the backside of the rough paper from Bockingford and Saunders Waterford. I like the grain better working for me that way. But of course it could be different for someone else. I did read somewhere that Wesson also painted on Bockingford rough, but I never see the textures I get on the rough, until I painted on the back. Maybe Wesson chose also the back? Who knows?
The tree Edward Wesson also would paint II (With voice over) and no music
