No kidding, some years ago, for several months, I trained in the same Gym that Greg trained in. I chatted with Greg from time to time, and got to in know him to some extent. I finally had to return to New York, and believe it or not, while on my flight back it just hit me that Greg D. was about as nice and caring as a top tier Bodybuilder that I have ever met. With all sincerely, Greg cares about People. During my few months at the Gym I observed Greg assisting numerous Gym members on how to correctly train for the best and most hypertrophic response a Bodybuilder could hope for, and Greg Never asked for Anything in return. He would even at times, help a guy or girl with their personal problems. I just came from the gym where i chatted with a 16 year old kid, who told me that he basically was incredibly tempted to do steroids, because he opens up social media and see people like "the tren twins" and alike, who he says are like "just take tren and get huge bro". He seemed to almost have this tunnel vision that is not healthy, i told him to seriously weigh his decisions and think about the downsides, but him already being 16 and all tempted now, i sadly don't think someone like him will be able to keep his hands off the drugs, when only he has lifted for 1 year already.. It's a serious problem now that young lifters with absolutely nothing to worry about when it comes to genetics and progress, get massive body dysmorphia, and FOMO on doing steroids. It would not surprise me if the average 15 - 20 year old lifter nowadays think the natural limit will hit them in a year or so, they think impatiently with unrealistic expectations that their newbie gains is the extend of their potential. It's very common now to say "oh max out your natural potential first, then jump on drugs" BRO HOW ABOUT FCKN NOT?! the big reasons as to why it is a horrible idea do not go away just cause you waited a couple of years lol.
@jayraitt90236 ай бұрын
I've had some similar encounters with younger men in the gym recently. I looked at one and I told him I gained 80lbs of muscle naturally.. he was shocked. It took me 10 years. 10 years of hard work, and a lot of fun. But I'm glad we talked because it opened up his eyes to seeing that the "limit" of his genetics (which are far better than mine could ever be) was so far from being touched. He had years to go. These kids need to know that time is on their side. Money, women, family, friends, everything gets better with age if you take care of yourself and be at least somewhat responsible with your life. I am concerned for these kids. So I make sure to take my time, and if it means that my workout is interrupted or takes longer in order to talk to these kids and make sure they are safe, I'll gladly have a "bad" workout in order to help someone avoid danger and drugs.

All very good points. The argument for allowing one to reach one’s natural potential before going on gear is a horrible one. The same applies to those who “just take” TRT prescribed by their doctor. It’s a lame argument. We don’t even know what the long term effects are. But suffice it to say, if it makes you feel like you’re full of energy and eternally 25 years old, chances are you’re going to pay for that feeling later. Greg would have far fewer subscribers if he were totally natural. He is still an enhanced athlete and encouraging the drug lifestyle by the example of his life. So he contradicts his soap-box preaching against drugs, which no one notices.

You’re right BUT here’s the catch. 1) Even if you use gear, your odds of becoming rich and successful like Greg or the Twins are slim to none 2) I’m an old head who wasted so much of my youth chasing that perfect physique and abusing drugs. Never made a cent off of it. Cost me tens of thousands of dollars, could have had many homes by now. 3) Going to school or learning a real skill is a far safer route to independence and success 4) How do you know the tren twins will still be rich, famous and successful 5 years from now? I’ve been in this industry for 20 years. Do you know how many big “fitness stars” like Greg and the twins I’ve seen come and go. Nobody knows their name now.

And them being on gear and telling people to not hop on them is exactly what you do every video, so do you not think your success and popularity on KZbin is a direct result of abusing PED’s previously? Does no one look at your financial situation and popularity as a result of PED’s? Or do the twins/Sam/cbum only get criticised for influencing indirectly through steroids and not yourself? You should only take steroids if you can check the following 7 boxes. 1) You don't have family history of cardiovascular issues. 2) Your body responds well to steroids in 2 way, you build muscle well on them and secondly you don't get severe acne and other side effects 3) *you can bench 2 plates each side for 15 clean reps with semi-narrow grip, no back arch and bouncing weight of chest for momentum 4)you can do 20 dead hang pull ups bar must touch your chest and you must hold for for 2 seconds. If you're out of shape to do pull ups then your diet isn't clean enough to be effective on roids anyways. 5) You can military press 1 plate each side for 15 strict reps. 6) You can squat 1.5-2 plates each side for 20-25 reps 7) You can deadlift 2.5-3 plates each side for 20-25 reps If you can check those boxes and you're off average height... it means your body is most likely healthy enough to handle steroids and secondly you've really put the work in as a natural to get the best response from roids.
