OMG!!!! I bought this for the hell of it since it was only like $60. Didn't think much of it, and holy hack! This thing is amazing! It's not elite, but it definitely can go toe to toe with an Ayaneo, Anbernic, or Aya.

Think of it this way, those switch games will be there for a while and you can get them whenever. These retro games are classics and can be a change of pace for your switch games too! This device is incredible in my opinion.

This would be the pefect handheld for me if it was as powerful as the RG 556 and if it had HDMI output. Hopefully they release a 2.0 version with these improvements

This device is not built for PS2 emulation and I don't think the upgraded version will either. For what it sounds like you want the Retroid 5 is probably better. RG556 is on Android OS and these devices will most likely never be.

Dude new sub here. I love this device, I have the white one and wish I bought the black one but oh well, CrossMix OS kicks butt. As a KZbinr I'll start reviewing these devices also. I have the Miyoo Mini +, the RG35XXH, the TrimUI Smart Pro and the RG40XXV which is one the way!

@@McFlyPlays Nice! I have a question, do you know how to set up the Best Folder in CrossMix OS? I miss the Vertical Shmups that the original Stock OS had, but can't find it on the CrossMix OS? Maybe I need to set something up but tried and wasn't successful!

When you install CrossMix you have to copy certain settings from the Emus folder. I normally suggest installing CrossMix on a new SD and keeping the stock available for things like this. CorssMix is essentially beta still so there are some issues with it.

I have a rg35xx h. Is this a similar device with a larger screen? Does bluetooth work on that for headphones? I can't connect my momentum 4s to my rg35xx h with batocera, they connect but don't work. Also $40 how? It's $140AUD here. or $103AUD on ali express.

It's about one step upgrade form the 35XX H. The 40XX H is the equivalent from Anbernic. Check out Ali Express for cheap deals. The Smart Pro goes on sale often there. You just have to stay diligent. I can connect my headphones and a Bluetooth controller to the smart pro pretty quickly.

It's not strong enough for that unfortunately. It can handle SOME PSP games but I've found some lag on the more labor intensive ones.
