The Troopy Made it to Overland Expo!

We spent a great night in the Mojave on the way to Flagstaff for Overland Expo West 2024. The troopy did great on the drive, and we had an amazing time at the expo. We had a chance to meet so many incredible and inspiring people, and definitely left the expo recharged and more excited than ever to tackle the Pan-American Highway!

I'm so happy for you in making it to the show.i bet you were in your glory seeing those other troopys? Its also nice to see the troopy had no issues on the way. Were there many 5th gen builds there? Take care my friend and be safe.

It was awesome to see the other troopys, very jealous of their V8s 😂 so many 5th gens, Toyota was showing off the 6th gen, a ton of full size truck builds, but the Ineos Grenadier was the star of the show it felt like, everyone was showing one off.

@@BenStinnett what's your opinion on the 6th gen 4runner? To be completely honest, I think the 4runner has lost its identity, it looks to much like the Tacoma. Proberly keep my 5th gen.

Ben what engine do you have ? If it is a 1HZ engine you will have no problems. I drive over 32 years only TROOPYS with a 1HZ. She never gives up. Much luck in the future. Greetings from my TLC 78 from Germany.

@@gabyherrmann9894 3F is Toyota’s old carbureted inline 6 cylinder gas motor. It’s pretty bulletproof, but a bit slow and very thirsty!

@@gabyherrmann9894 yeah it’s the factory motor. It had 510,000km on it when I replaced it with a rebuilt motor

Did you get your Troopy from South America or Costa Rica since it’s LHD?

This one is out of Kuwait, so it’s the Middle East spec with the 3F gas motor, LHD, and factory A/C!
