The 2022, 2023, 2024 Toyota T Tundra are garbage. The 2024 Toyota Tacoma also garbage. The new 2025 Toyota 4Runner will be the next generation of garbage by Toyota. Unfortunately the U.S. government keeps continuing to mandate lower emissions that sent manufacturers down a rabbit hole of high compression engines, mainly turbos to burn off exhaust gas. No more days of simple and reliable engines. Hence electric vehicles. Which in my opinion are even worse for the environment. 1) the process to manufacture and dispose of batteries. 2) to replace a battery is the same price as buying another vehicle. 3) to charge EVs you have a power plant to push power into the grid so these EVs can charge. 4) the resale and trade in for an EV is way worse than a combustion engine. The smart choice is to buy a tried and tested used vehicle and restore it to mint condition. Even spending 20k on a full restoration is cheaper and more reliable that buying 💩 today.

Lots of matinence is true, got a 13 eco boost. With 250k, original engine and turbos. You gotta change oil every 3k, upgrade plugs, catch can, seafoam every 100k. Just had my tranmission line rust out. That was a nice 600 bucks. So yea it definitely does have alot of matinence. But it's going on 6years and it did it's job. I did just buy a 2024 7.3 f250, I dont think I'll ever get another turbo engine.

Annoying that most dealerships, especially Ford dealers, have so few if any basic F150 XL work trucks. Rows and rows of outrageously priced high trim level F150's. Trucks becoming more Cadillac like and luxury inspired instead of just a working tool has altered what being a truck was originally designed for.

Blame the EPA. It’s the decision between a gas guzzling V6 getting 16mph or about 30 percent better mileage with a modern turbo. Manufacturers are under intense pressure to meet CAFE requirements. Huge economic penalties are attached. They are being forced to sacrifice reliability for efficiency.

They push the limits of how much they can charge for a truck. It the Ram you showed for $126000 next time you see $76000, then to some the price reduction may appeal to them given the original price 126000 and the "substantial reduction" may entice them to buy it. It appears to be a psychological ploy and a cruel one indeed.
