Also do not forget to pray Isthikara continually. Do not stop praying to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala until you have gotten married, No one knows them more than their Lord. He has knowledge of not only everything about this person but also your compatibility and what the future holds for you both. Prioritize Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and He will bless you, to Him belongs the best outcome.

I also got married to get out of the house. I don't know why it surprises me to hear that other people have done that!

No same, every time someone says that I get so surprised. We're really all living the same lives lol. Truly no unique human experience

Also don’t divulge your mistakes and sins. This is important. If Allah has covered you sins don’t expose them, even for your potential husband.

Nail on the head. We don't need to share EVERYTHING with a potential significant other tbh.

We needed this, more girl talk on this topics. It’s so hard to find advice for us sisters to apply when it comes for marriage. InshaAllah we would love to see more … so many gems, gem of the day < make sure you are making a statements so you set a standard and then follow it up with a question to see if this is something compatible>

Damn I need a best friend 😭 thank you two for the vulnerability and wise words. I'm in a situation with a revert who's more intellectually interested in Islam than spiritual and I'm stressing over if it's good enough if he does the bare minimum or if that means he'll drop the deen later or something horrible... But yea, i hope you can do a Q and A with revert experiences cause they have unique difficulties that need to be seen too 😢

I discovered your channel recently after already following your Instagram. I hadn't realized you had a KZbin channel. So it was a happy surprise when I came across your channel. You really give me big sis vibes just based on your experiences, not your age, haha. I know you're young ❤❤. The thing you mentioned about being sensitive is very relatable. I think, along with kindness, what's important is someone who is warm, accepting of the emotions their spouse goes through, and responds in a loving manner. People who raise their voice and are aggressive just put me off. It's really beautiful to see the sisterhood you have in your life, and I hope I can find this kind of sisterhood in my life, too. Love the video ❤❤

JazakiAllahu khiran for this video💚 the series called “The Muslim Family” by Muhammad al-Jibaly looks like a nice resource for someone looking to get married/who’s married. I haven’t delved into these books yet but hope to insha’Allah.

Honestly I’ve been married for 3+ years and I’m struggling real bad hearing different perspectives is good to hear and I was just like u Fatima I wanted to “leave” so bad but I ran away from one issue to another without understanding what marriage actually is 😅 I was so delusional when married woman told me it’s not what u think I used to think they just don’t want me to get married 😂💔 I would love to hear more about laylah (with an h) 😂 perspective on divorce because it’s so taboo to talk about in my culture

awww thank you for watching my love! Marriage can definitely be a struggle during the adjustment phases tbh, and even after. Congrats on making it to 3+ years, definitely not a small feat by any means.

Omg it’s so nice that u reply to all ur comments 😢and yes wallah ur so right I really feel like it is a coping mechanism and thank u time really does fly I always think didn’t I just get married then I see how many years have passed and I’m like oh wow 😂 ❤much love Fatima I am a new subscriber and I don’t plan on leaving anytime soon I love it here ❤ p.s. I have one more question 😂 when it comes to having kids do u think it’s a good idea to have more then one if after ur first u saw no one there to help u and u didn’t see ur spouse being the best parent (I’ve heard before that it’s mekrooh to do any type of birth control when ur husband is against it ) what’s ur thought on that ?

Ahh ur asking the tough questions but to be 💯 with you I personally asked why my parents had so many kids if they weren’t always the best parents to us they choose quantity over quality . I feel I was put in a situation where I (like my mother) won’t have much say over what my kids can and can’t do I don’t want them to grow up feeling like they weren’t raised the right way so I’m scared of having another but my son is two and a half so even though I don’t see the rush everyone around me is questioning my choices 😂 but I really don’t have anyone around me so it’s not a total bias my family are all overseas and I don’t really have any friends making friends as an adult is so hardddd it’s so nice seeing u have laylah and a community around you cherish them❤

I’m always thinking I need to lose some width before I get married get clearer skin like I’m obsessed with wanting to look good for my future husband that I’m not even looking for a spouse till I feel confident but tbh I don’t want to get any older and still not be married and alot of people tell me I defo don’t look fat I look slim but idk I guess I’m my bigots critic I don’t think this should stop me from looking my for a spouse
