Another excellent video guys! Elsa and I were literally laughing, nodding at each other and agreeing whole heartedly throughout the entire video. Thanks again for your inspiration and wisdom - you guys are awesome!

Thank you. We are so inspired by your journey and always encourage people to check your videos out to see an honest account of what happens on a homestead. We want people to go into homesteading because they really want to do it and it is consistent with what they want to achieve and not because of the false images they see on the socials.

I think you guys are so blessed - not an easy road - I speak from experience but well worth the effort - the key to homesteading is to have a partner that shares your passion and you guy's look great together ❤

That is awesome! The best kind. We underestimate how much small spaces in our backyards can provide for us on our journey to self sufficiency

You guys are so right as to how people have no idea how much work is involved! I believe that when I go on to my micro homestead it will take at least 3 years before I can say that it's working the way I envisioned it!! Glad to see you guys back, keep up the good work and stay safe out there!

Thats very accurate. We have met homesteaders who have been on the journey for 7 years and say they feel they are not anywhere near where they want to be. Its so important for prospective homesteaders to know the commitment in time that is required. Hope you are keeping well and staying safe.

Looking forward to following your journey. I'm a South African living in the UK now. I've had an allotment for a few years now. I'm hoping to one day have my own property to homestead

Absolutely. We have heard that property prices are very expensive that side? Are you planning to come back?

Very informative and useful, thank you for your honesty and just down to earth attitude. You answered a lot of my questions. I wish you all the best in your journey. Would like to see how big your property really is, saw some of it in your previous episode but couldn't really establish the size, cant wait to see the rest, love the river on your property. Don't stay away too long, waiting on the next episode.

Thanks so much. We are hoping to increase the content as things start get more manageable here. We have just a little under 2 hectares. We are intending to do a recap soon and show a proper tour of how the plot looks like now.

@@millennialhomesteader I'm on the market trying to find a plot/farm. I'd really like to see how much does a 2ha produce and what can such piece of land do. Can I do bees, is the land enough for cattle pastures.

Hi. We contacted a realtor in the area we wanted. That's very helpful as they usually know more about the area and the properties. They are also more likely to link you up with people who are interested in selling. We see homesteads/farms being sold all the time as people decide to retire or move to the city so there is supply you just have to look. Alternatively you can do a couple of drives around the area and you can enquire on vacant land but the realtor approach works best in our experience.
