@Lone Ranger I am specifically talking about the Convention for Extension of Hong Kong Territory, and specifically about the term that said 99 years, signed in 1898 and ending 1997, the Brits accepting a *99 year lease* because Claude Macdonald, the British rep, felt that 99 years was "as good as forever". That treaty also extended to increasing the size of Britain's already established colony there, in an attempt to extend it for *200 miles* So while Britain had the colony for longer (since 1841) specifically my comment, *which discussed the 99 year lease agreement* was *only* discussing *the 99 year lease agreement* Do. @micha84695 жыл бұрын
@@thegreatape884 Yes, you do. If you buy those DIY ready to work with various engines chips, it just means you're ruining your engine, just a matter of time till things go sideways. IC engines are so complex that they require specialists to be dealt with. If you wanna improve your IC engine performance that means not only inserting a chip but most important lots of tunnings, measurements and adaptation that makes the whole engine works fine with new parameters. That usually takes 1-2 days to tune an engine properly. That's a major disadvantage about IC engines overall, not only when we're talking about performance tunning. They are too complex for their shitty efficiency, difficult maintanance and bad influence on environment and people and the noise the produce. That's why technology won't go after hydrogen powered IC engines which are pretty easy to convert from regular fuel powered engines. It'll be hydrogen fuel cell + electric engine. Fuel cell around 70-75% efficient and electric engine ~99% efficient.

@@gamefish32 of course he is. For instance do you remember 10 years ago when every single phone maker had their own charging cable? Before the EU brought the hammer down and forced almost all makers to use Micro USB, you literally had to have a sea of cables to charge all your phones. Friends coming over could NEVER use your phone charger. And of course Apple evaded that forced conversion with their LIghtning-cables they simply provieded a 10€ Lighting-to-Micro-USB adapter for Over here in Germany, most charging stations are now Type 2. DC Quick-chargers have three cables - ChadeMo, CSS and Type 2 as a backup. Ideally you would get rid of Chademo soon and just have the Type 2 and CSS left, because CCS is basically Type 2 at the top plus 2 more leads at the bottom for a total of five. The Model 3 comes with a Type 2 charging port in Europe as well. So ideally we will get rid of Teslas charging ports altogether pretty soon and have everyone charge with CCS in Europe and the Supercharger network not even existing here.

When that times comes, Europe will make up a new law to ban electric cars because batteries are an ecological time bomb. They did the same with diesel, soon they'll ban oil cars (but they still allow us to buy them so we are totally screwed later). That whole ecological stuff is total bs.
@EarthSurferUSA4 жыл бұрын
You are mistaken my fellow. Electric cars are not being produced because of free market forces, but because of government forces. That means the cost goes up, (while accountability in their product goes down), and if you can't afford one now,---you probably never will be able to,--unless you can get rich somehow. Good luck.
@En_theo4 жыл бұрын
@EarthSurferUSA I doubt our governments can tell anything important to rich people, it's actually the other way around. The ban on diesel is the proof the government works for them. Normally, they should have banned the making of new diesel cars 10 years ago, but instead they banned even recent cars. This is clearly a disrespect of customers' rights, and none reacted. Now they tell us "after 2025, we guarantee nothing for no cars". You have to buy blindly without knowing if you'll have to sell it for peanuts later. Ecology is just an excuse to steal a little more money from us.

Not to damn many, if your home or job doesn't have access to charging do not go into getting an EV lightly. The repair costs on these vehicles are astronomical. I like real time information from an instrument cluster and real time information just below my eyes. And I know what the Tesla groupies are going to say you can get this on the infotainment screen. There may be other things I want on the infotainment screen I like having a large instrument cluster right beneath my eyes. It wouldn't take much for Tesla to put in instrument cluster in, hell even a configurable.
@StevoDesign5 жыл бұрын
The cluster is always on the screen and still lets you have whatever you want on the remainder of the screen. Have you even seen this video? Or perhaps you want more info than is included on the screen? It doesn't take a "groupie" (nice job trying to invalidate the people who are critical of you) to know that having that info at "street level" is better than having it just below your eyes.
@x--.5 жыл бұрын
Man, the future is going to be disappointing for you and me both. I love good instrumentation and ease of viewing but all those little pieces are going to cost more to make/install/repair and for what? We aren't flying 737s.
