U can put whatever motor you want on whatever quad you have, as long as they fit, and the FC can handle the power, so the only restriction is that you cant go to big.

Yes, the same size motor is used in different quads. Look for a 8x20mm coreless motor with around 15.000Kv, and it might work. However, we ship globally. Wherever you are in the world, Id be happy to ship you a set of motors. Contact us at [e-mail] if you have any problems with the checkout!

I made small holes on the backside of the rubber feet and will route the connector through there to the inside of the arm supports. The connector just barely fits down the hole in the motor cup. This way you dont have to worry about pinching the wires and getting them into the grooves perfectly. The rubber feet are soft and drilling a hole takes only a few minutes. And I guess the material thay you remove from the rubber feet offsets the weight of the connector that you add.

How do you think, it's possible to replace all motors for other types, more powerful and use DJI Tello motherboard?

I think its possible to run the Tello FC with faster motors. However I also think that the FC is hindering all-out-performance more than the motors. Its configured to be as stable and as efficient as possible, not to be super fast. What do you want to achieve?

My go-to quads are custom-built Tiny Whoops. More range than a Tello but if the video cam is better, thats debatable ;)

The motors on the Tello last 5-10 hours. However, the wires are installed in a way that if a motor ejects in a crash, it snaps the wires at a point where its very hard to fix.

Hey Jakobe, the first batch we sent out was with longer wires. Until I discovered its easier to have the connectors near the motors. This thing is $100. Batteries for it are $20. Add a controler to that and a couple of batteries and suddenly you're in close to $200 deep. Worth it imho.

I flew my new Tello for ten minutes inside and had a few soft crashes and then one motor failed. A wire had broken off the motor. If I must replace a motor every ten minutes I would say it's a waste of money. Find another hobby.
