For a time, I worked in a domestic violence shelter and I followed the Cruise-Holmes with great interest. It was very clear that, if all the reporting with reasonably accurate, that Katie did all the things victims of domestic violence are advised to do, if circumstances permit. She planned carefully and secretly, she was able to have her attorney father covering for her, she used burner phones, and she was even able to rent a NY apartment under some pretext. Then, with everything in place and safely in NY, she had Tom served with divorce papers. Brava!

If your 'church' : - forces you to abandon your family/ children/ friends - uses guilt, isolation, verbal abuse, physical or sexual abuse as a punishment - dictates or pressures you on how you use your money, job you're allowed to have ,where you're allowed to live, who you're allowed to marry Or, goes even further and: - Arranges your marriage, where you are to be housed, makes you be housed in a compound belonging to the church, makes you work for the church for free, makes you provide services for the church for free, takes your money involuntarily for the church as a collective - makes people tattle, spy, report on each other in the church - if you are not allowed to report abuse outside of the church. - if abuses are excused through the dogma of the church or that it is a punishment from (insert belief) that you are suffering - advocate for violence against non-believers or against members that have done wrong in the eyes of the church - if you are not allowed to leave.... @@carolr7333 Except Cher, who has been around the block a time or 1000, has said publicly that Tom was one of her top five lovers. Apparently, they dated in the 80’s. I think Tom is an excellent actor, but I believe he had some serious baggage and self esteem issues in early adulthood, and Scientology took full advantage of that to their benefit. Same with Travolta. He joined when he was 21. I can only imagine how easily manipulated both were at that age, especially being treated as VIP’s, and not exposed to the ugly inner workings of the “church”. In the eyes of the top brass at Scientology, having top Hollywood actors involved in their church gave them credibility.

Tom Cruise’s entire life is tied into the church. His financials, everything. Everyone on his staff is involved in the church. David Miscavige has such a stronghold over him and also treats him as the No.2 of the entire cult, he cannot help but feel special. Imagine being second in command over an entire church and everyone is basically your servant. Great video, btw. You really did your due diligence of research. But you skipped Penelope Cruz in between Nicole Kidman and Nazanin Boniadi. That short relationship was also “allegedly” arranged as well. She also never talked about him afterwards. I loved this, thank you Kayluh 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. I actually worked with Katie Holmes on a movie she shot here in Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺, it was probably about 2yrs before she left Tom Cruise. While filming, I noticed that when the cameras stopped rolling she seemed really sad and depressed. Growing up watching her on Dawson’s Creek, she was a bit of an idol to me, and I always thought she seemed like a happy and carefree person. But the Katie I met and worked with didn’t seem that way at all. I remember Tom came on set one day with Suri, and he actually knocked me to the ground running after her. He was actually very kind and gentlemanly about it and picked me up off the ground and apologised profusely making sure I was ok. It was definitely an out of body experience for me, just some girl who’d grown up admiring these two huge actors. But looking back I feel like I may have seen the beginnings of the end of their marriage. I remember talking to Katie at the end of a day of shooting and asking her if she was tired (it had been a very long 14hr day on set, and she really didn’t say much back, but I also vividly remember this man/minder with her, I thought he was her driver but having thought about it over the years I really believe he was most likely a minder from the church, he was just around her too much throughout the day to be a driver. I can only imagine what she went through in that marriage, and I can’t imagine it was easy. Yes, Tom Cruise was really lovely and kind to me, but isn’t that who he portrays himself to be? This charming and charismatic guy? It was almost like he was putting on a show, after picking me up, he went over to Katie & Suri and started playing/rolling around on the ground in the middle of a huge circle of 200 or more cast and crew, everyone just watched wide eyed, it was very strange. I definitely feel Katie was feeling suppressed in her marriage to him, along with Mimi and Nicole. I’m just glad Katie was smart enough to learn from his past marriages and get her daughter out of there before she was old enough to be raised like other Scientology children. I definitely think Katie’s dad being a lawyer helped her there, and in regards to her not being “allowed” to date publicly, I’m sure she would have agreed to anything to keep her daughter safe, as would any parent. I definitely think Tom is bit narcissistic, and being in a relationship with a man like that is really hard work. I can’t imagine there’s many women outside the church that would get involved with him long term these days, would you?

Leah Remini had nothing positive to say about either Tom or Katie. They were both mean spirited and awful to their staff and people they decided they didn't like for some reason like Leah. She says in her book she'd been to Toms house only one time and he reamed his staff m we member over something that was his fault and Leah pointed that out. Too much honesty for Tom. He hated Leah after that. (in her book!) Neither one of them is a nice person. I believe Leah.

@@susannadvortsin I have seen all of Leah’s shows she’s done regarding Scientology and Tom and Katie. I don’t think Katie is a mean spirited person at heart, I think that there would have been a time (in the early stages of their marriage) that she would’ve just accepted Tom the way he was and gone along with how he acted with his staff etc… Women do that when they think they’re in love and in the perfect relationship, they change themselves for the man, and do things they wouldn’t normally do, sometimes just to keep the man happy. I was in a toxic and controlling relationship and I know I did things I’m not proud of just to keep that person happy and “keep up appearances”. It’s really hard being with a narcissistic man.

Understand it's importantance, but don't accept the abuses. The Scientology thing is an Author who gave people jobs and a purpose. He was, just not a nerd, he was well rounded and perhaps wrote without great thought. Perhaps, his books are not absolutely correct but they are a product and that organisation really helped me. I never actually felt, such motivation and happiness is selling books and learning the job. They helped support me, and corrected me when I went wrong. It's a lovely community. I escaped from drug users. I escaped from low pay. I had some years, in employment. It's not perfect but. It was fun to be part of that organisation until the money ran out.

True story: Back in 2010 I felt that I was out of control with my cannabis use. I called a help-line and spoke with the woman on the phone and told her that I feel I need help to quit, thinking she would tell me where NA meetings were and what clinic I could go to. Woman: "Go to the intersection of Y & Z at the southwest corner and they will help you there." Me: "But that is the where the place of Scientology is." Woman: "What do you know about Scientology?" Me: "From what I hear it's a cult and destroys people's lives" Woman: "Well that is false information and Scientology will help you" Me: "Are you a Scientologist?" Woman: "Yes I am and proud of it." I hung up in shock that this random woman tried to recruit me into Scientology when I was trying to reach for help.

Seems like he’s as arrogant and obtuse as any other narcissist around or worse, and he’s also weirdly contemptuous about psychology. I’m with you on that one tho. These are grown folks. I was going to work at Narc-Anon, a Scientology based rehab one year. They said I didn't have to join their religion but they train you in the basics if you work there. I did one of those "sessions" with one of the directors and that was it for me. I packed up all my stuff and loaded it back into my car and left the next day. It smacked very much of mind control to me, the techniques they use. Like MK ultra or something. This was back before I knew such a thing existed. They sort of break you down in order to "rebuild" you . It was very bizarre. Another thing that struck me as odd was the cost of the program. It was really expensive. Again if you are all about helping people why do you charge so much?

Manual labor punishments. They insulate Tom Cruise in a bubble and manage his relationships while treating him like a god. Families get ripped apart because they're SP's. She said if you're too broke for auditing and classes, they job hunt for you so you can pay up and don't really care if you're living in poverty. The passages on her "evolving" enough to visit Katie and TC's house and go to their wedding was eye opening. He seems like a high maintenance nightmare to everyone "beneath" him, but really warm and fun to everyone on his level. I HIGHLY recommend reading it as an audiobook because she narrates. Nicole's comments about her two older children have always been so mature and classy to me. No doubt the whole situation has been very horrible behind the scenes and I'm sure Keith knows the truth, but she has always maintained her kids' privacy and respected their decisions. Family is not binary, it's different for everyone and sometimes it's sad, but we can always try and do the best for each other.

Back when Tom was married to Mimi the tabloids were spreading rumors that she was seeking help for fertility issues. But after their divorce, she remarried and had children. Scientology "arranges" for their members to find partners and have families by whatever means necessary... adoption, IVF, surrogacy, etc...I sincerely doubt that Tom Cruise has any biology children... that's what Katie Holmes held over him when Tom briefly sued for full custody of Suri as revenge, when Katie shocked him by filing for divorce...her lawyers had a "conversation" with him and he dropped it...fast...

You did an excellent job with this! Thank you! I would definitely appreciate more videos on this subject. Scientology is a scary religious cult. All the power they have, including getting the IRS to classify them as tax exempt for religious purposes is outrageous and it’s hard to even get the actual truth as to what the Scientologist actually did to get them this classification. Of course other than the planting of their people within the Agency itself, and the lives of IRS employees. Instructing their plants to get any information they could so individuals could be blackmailed with said information, and the Agency itself, just because of association. How the organization ultimately got the Agency to not use the IRS’s win in the Supreme Court’s ruling in favor of the IRS, so the IRS could tax the organization. Instead the IRS just went ahead and made them a religious organization, which is outrageous and I’m so curious to know other things they may give done. Which could be so many different things, it makes me more interested in what has happened. The stalking/harassment angles they use is frightening. The organization should definitely be able to be charged with at a minimum of blackmail… *obviously this is what I’ve gathered around the internet as well, and isn’t confirmed by the organization or courts, so just an opinion as well, although all seems to favor truth, rather than fiction.*
