It's hard to grasp what side Keith is in on that clip. He makes a good point, always ask permission. Though, he also says "it looks to me like everyone hates Ariel. I've barely seen anything about Maggie, and the fact that you're taking it down is totally unacceptable." I know this isn't about Keith, but it's just so hard to listen. Seemingly only Zach cared about Ariel in this clip. Everyone else just found it unacceptable because "it wasn't Maggie" and "Ariel was taking the brunt of the hate." Ugh, someone tell me I'm wrong, because that clip sounded so wrong.

@@Misspellednumbers To me it sounded like Zach wanted the video down because to him every negative comment was about Maggie. To Keith and Ned it was mainly Ariel and less Maggie than Zach was trying to make it seem. But it is fucked up that Ned knew it was mostly hate towards Ariel and he was more upset that his work was taken off than his wife feelings.

I honestly am stuck on the fact that Ned wanted the video put back up where Ariel was getting the most hate while Zack is honestly looking out for her more than her own husband!?! And yes I realized that he should’ve talked to the guys first cause it’s a company decision but at least he’s looking out for his people more than anything, and I can always respect that.

It's not a persona that can be faked forever, and sometimes I wonder if he went out publicly with Alex because a part of him couldn't do it anymore. He should’ve been the boss and stopped it before it started; this can 100% get you fired in a traditional job as well. Part of me wishes they could just release the pre-filmed stuff with a disclaimer that it *is* pre-filmed, but the other part understands why they absolutely wouldn’t want to have him on the channel period anymore. I think people don’t fully understand how much time an internal investigation legally takes. They probably did know a lot longer than 1 month but that doesn’t make them awful people for not acting sooner. Because Ned owns part of the company they had to find out legally how to fire him. If this was an employee under them firing them is much easier on the spot. When it’s a co owner it’s much harder. Also revealing it to Ariel is a difficult thing to do. To tell someone who you care about mental health and love that their husband father of their children of 10+ years is cheating on you heavily is not easy to say. So till we know more I don’t think they did anything wrong really

I don’t know if it’s already been mentioned here, but another big factor they must be dealing with is the financial one. Before announcing he was fired, as a partner in their enterprise they must have had to buy him out or make some other deal to cut him loose. I don’t doubt there are a lot of lawyers involved.

Keith at 7:53 is the most underrated moment in try guys history for me. The way he explains to Zach in such a gentle way, while also remaining firm, why they’re upset is such an ultimate green flag for me and it made me genuinely understand why Keith and Zach usually said they were the “best” friends of the guys. Juxtaposing Ned’s reaction with Keith’s highlights how much Ned’s reaction to the whole thing kinda sucks.

I do think their channel will be changed moving forward, but this is an entire company with a brand new office so it would seem petty to completely disband over something like this. I feel so angry for Ariel... Poor mama does NOT deserve this. She deserves to be valued, loved, and respected. As a mom myself, I know how hard Ariel works... And when your spouse is out late at night, I know it makes being a parent even harder. If Ariel sees this, the problem isn't you. I don't care if the romance was fizzling or if motherhood consumed you for a bit- a loving partner sticks it out with you and finds a solution. When I left my ex it was honestly a relief. It sucked. It hurt for a bit. But life is EASIER. I hope she knows that on the other side of all of this is more peace and joy than she could ever imagine. Your kids will be okay, they are so resilient. You will be okay, because you are also resilient. If she does stay, I'd respect her decision... But I wouldn't ever be able to shake the feeling that she and her kids deserve better. My ex literally HAD to be more involved because we broke up- I got more help from him than when we lived together. My heart breaks for her. Liars and manipulators don't stop just because they've been caught. They only get more sneaky, and based on how comfortable he has been with continuing this relationship for such a long time, it looks like he would have kept going :(

Y'all misconstrued the thing with Zach and Ned in the unlisting video. While Ariel was also getting hate, Zach took the video down bc alot fo the hate and harassment was going to his girlfriend Maggie to the point she was in distress and crying over something she didn't deserve. He was mostly trying to defend his girlfriend because it was absolutely stressing her out and false things where being told about her. Ned still not caring his wife was getting hate is weird though. The TikTok literally chopped it up to make. It Ned and Ariel centric and taking away the fact Zach was worried about Maggie.. who wasn't an online PEROSN vs Ariel at the time.

I don’t think keeping a video up when a person is getting hate is necessarily “not caring” about them. If you’re an internet figure you will get hate, that’s how it is. Yes it’s unfortunate but if you take down all videos in which you get hate, you won’t have any videos up.

@@YeetusTheFetus it's more so during that conversation, Zach was putting thought into Maggie while when the others made comments Ariel was also getting hate, Ned was more focused on the project going down then acknowledging his wife getting hate. @inuala9453 Жыл бұрын
I can imagine, that there is a contract like that, when it comes to a falling out. I can imagine, that since they were four owners of the company, each had 25% (just a theory!). I can imagine that they would buy Ned's portion out and spilt that into three to keep the balance. But who knows? I'm sure they have very good lawyers who gave them advice on that.
@danielle2661
@danielle2661 Жыл бұрын
This is what interests me most, too. Business partnerships, especially successful ones, aren't that easy to dissolve. My guess is they've been working with lawyers since they all found out in early September and I have no doubt Mr. Yale has his own separate attorney to guarantee he gets every penny of his 25%. Legally he's entitled to it. They can't just fire him with a 2 month severance package like any other corporate job. I wouldn't be surprised if this is ongoing as well. While the Try Guys have publicly said he is no longer working with them, it wouldn't surprise me if severing those business ties is taking much longer. It's easy (relatively) to cut him out of videos. Much harder to fire an owner with a 25% (in theroy) stake.
@charlesbronson2926
@charlesbronson2926 Жыл бұрын
@@danielle2661 There's no way it's as clear cut as 25% each. since they started in buzzfeed, they definitely had some deal with someone in leadership there, since generally that would make the IP the property of buzzfeed since they were employed by them at the time of creation.
@danielle2661
@danielle2661 Жыл бұрын
@@charlesbronson2926 that's why I put "in theory." I edited my comment probably as you were writing yours. Of course it's not clear cut and I know Buzzfeed has an "interest" in the Try Guys and whether that's also an ownership stake or just an investment we will never know. These are just theories. But my overall point stands. It's much harder to fire an owner of a company rather than just an employee. Whether that's the case here or not, you nor I know. We are all just speculating. Would it surprise me if he owned some percentage? No. Would it surprise me if it were less than 25%? No. Nothing would surprise me. I would be shocked if Buzzfeed let them leave and take the name without a heavy price. Buzzfeed might own 50% of the try guys and they split the other 50. Who knows! We're all just guessing here. Still hard to untangle an owner, even a minority owner, from their business.
