Fantastic craftsmanship, also in video editing and voiceover. Watching and listening was smooth as the engine was running. 10/10

This has become one of my favorite cars of yours. I really like the design and the nature of it, even though I don't know a whole lot aboout TVRs. This recap made me really want to revisit the series. Great work as always!

The rear end perspective of the car looks the best on this TVR. Steve, your depth and breadth of skills and knowledge are impressive, as well as your esthetics sensibility of arts and music.

You made a really good job of bringing this TVR back to form well done……when working in classic restoration we rebuilt a 5.0L Tuscan V8 for a client. I rebuilt all the mechanical’s engine gearbox axle/diff and lots more loved working on that car, not the easiest but great satisfaction on completion ❤

Thanks, very interesting ... any video's of that work ?

@@D3Sshooter Hi no video I’m afraid this work was carried out in early 2000’s didn’t have any video recording back then to hand. As I said not the easiest to work on quite restrictive for space in some areas but great fun to test drive❤️

Hi again I have found a few photos of the Tuscan……not sure how to get them to you?

It was thanks to this series that I ended up buying a 3000M earlier this year. Great cars and I've revisited your videos loads to see how stuff goes together as I've been working on mine. Thanks!

Excellent video and some good tips along the way, particularly from my interest in a leaky cooling system which I am anticipating on my stored Lotus. Also the valve seal replacement in situ and not to be afraid of making your own parts. TVR cars I have always had an interest, although I have never actually owned one. I am running out of space as it is.

In the early 80's, a mate had a '74 3000M with a 3.1 Swaymar engine and big Holly 4 barrel, that could shift a bit.

Sweet. The Essex engine is great once it's sorted properly. I've had 2 Scimitar GTE with that motor.

Got to love a classic TVR. Got to love an Essex V6. 1977 according to the UK number plate so it's lasted really well Nice before and after shot with the number plate change but I couldnt tell if that bounce visible on the bend before was gone later, because you were driving way that time

I always liked the look of the 3000M since I was a kid and that Essex V6 is a classic found in Capris and Granadas of the day and has a very pleasant and distinctive note. That yellow is one of my favourite colours and really suits this car in particular. It seems you are really able work magic on these old cars and it looks better now than it probably did when it originally left the factory and probably runs better too! The only thing I wasn’t sure about were the chrome bumpers. Was the how these cars were originally or were they black? I kind of like the black look but it’s a minor detail and either way the car looks spectacular.
@D3SshooterАй бұрын
Thanks for the comments, they had rubber bumpers as far as I recall...

I also love it. A great looking car, in my opinion, but why sell something you love after all the good work? Would've been a keeper for me.

Aaahhh, the dreaded fibre timing gear, i would have changed that immediately, stripped a couple back in the day, valves and pistons don't play well together.
@D3SshooterАй бұрын
True, but this one looked good.. the replacements in metal are a bit noisy... but better

@D3SshooterАй бұрын
Indeed, and there was a scam with it. I sold it to a person in Brussels, who also sold it.However some scammers used my name and address to advertise it further.The asked an advance to the potential buyers before they had seen the car . All that using my name and address. At some point, somebody showed up at my place as we had " a so quoted appointment for the car". That was a year later. The guy told me that we spoke on the phone, that had lots of conversations. However , that was not with me. It turned out when we checked the phone numbers that it was not my number at all, nor did any conversation happend with me. You really need to be careful with and alert with scammers..
