It's hard to get a real, genuine response from these politicians because they know that every word they say will be used as a sound byte if it's even remotely controversial. Trudeau is one of the good ones, he actually breaks the act a few times and is genuine with Hasan, even if his decisions are not quite in line with his act I still give him respect for actually engaging with Hasan and trying to answer his questions without setting fire to his agenda or his party. Whether or not his agenda is 100% in line with what we believe to be best is a different story, but at least he sticks to his guns unlike the Cheeto Mussolini we have in the Oval.

Refused to share budget info despite a court order demanding they do so. Granted staffers immunity from testifying. Falsifying reports, repeated controversies over documents regarding Afghanistan that went against what they wanted, intentionally misleading the public over the cost of fighter jets, lying and saying he had the backing of Stats Canada for cutting the long census form - he did not. Brad Butts lying in parliament and later admitting he lied but never explaining why, Calandra's abuse of question time, Lying about the Supreme Chief Justice, using ominous bills to push through their agenda the likes of which have never been seen before. A handbook on how to obstruct proceedings, in 2014 members of his own caucus finally said Harper was silencing them, THEY REWROTE HISTORY TO PROTECT THE RCMP FROM CRIMINAL CHARGES, Polievre being caught in advertising scam with public funds, hiring a convicted fraudster Carlson to your cabinet to open up an eco- think tank which he then left the government to run and turned into an oil propaganda think tank which received 15 million from the government in funding. Silencing the media and anyone out spoken (see the member in 2014 who came forward) against their goal. Forcing people to sign an oath of allegiance, being sued for breaking the law just to suspend the whistle blower without pay, blocking opposition MPs from accredited for international environment conferences and from visiting military bases. The list goes on and on and on. It's not hard to find what the last conservative government did wrong. There's a reason last election was known as the anti-Harper election.

The conservatives are worse (see my above list or google it yourself), but don't forget there is another option to Trudeau and the Liberals and that's the NDP. The media never talks about them but if you want what Trudeau promised to do and never did. The NDP is your party. The Liberals are corporate democrats, they believe you can be fiscally conservative and socially progressive. But you can't, those two things are contradictory.

If Trudeau really wanted to stop the deal, he could have applied more pressure & ensured that the weapons are not used for random acts of terror or war. In fact, several of his own ministers are against this. Please do it bro! We Chinese are sick of being demonised and dehumanised by western racists who cannot handle China's peaceful rise and who are all frothing at the mouth for Chinese on Chinese violence and hoping for Tiananmen 2.0 which is not going to ever happen. Make sure you report on how these protests are funded by NED(national endowment for democracy) which is a CIA front for overthrowing democracies and governments they don't like, like China and HK government. Show how all the young kids like Joshua Wong and his "gang of 4" got busted meeting with Julie Eadah, basically CIA handler working out of US HK consular office. Show how there's a current massive astroturfing campaign going on right now with hundreds of anti China reports on reddit and Facebook etc, and all the while Facebook and Twitter have did a mass censorship campaign against all accounts which post pro China stuff. They ban it under the justification that they are "state backed accounts" with absolutely zero evidence, and all based on recommendations from think tanks like "freedom house" which again, like NED, are CIA linked group which is working for USA gov and exists to manufacture consent and do propaganda in support of USA evil foreign policy of never ending wars and supporting 80% of worlds dictatorships like Saudi Arabia. They critical HK for oppression and lack of democracy and police brutality but at the same time best friends with Saudi and selling them hundreds of billions of high tech weapons. Please do it bro! The truth needs to be told to the world! Too many people are being racist against China and just all jumping on the anti China bandwagon. As a Canadian I gotta thank Hasan for asking JT the exact questions I've wanted to. I look up to Trudeau a lot and I still believe that he can be the progressive icon everyone thinks he is. Also it's nice seeing someone make Justin laugh, he acts too stiff all the time.

Don't know how this young man turned out to be such a very fine comedian and a very fine interviewer. Most people don't get two high profile careers so early. But with all his flaws, PM Trudeau is NOT going to go on Twitter to insult Munhaj's looks or patriotism or brains or family or religion or honesty or knowledge or conversation skills or comprehension level or sexual desirability or ... Of course, that's the lowest conceivable bar for an existing politician. I wish my country were still part of tomorrow's civilization.
