People are seriously misinterpreting the price "change" as some huge market-damaging bargain-creating sale bonanza... It's not. All they did was inflate the prices beyond expensive in 2021 and then brought them back to almost where they should be again. And they're still dearer than they were when I bought mine but are no better in terms of spec for 2023. Anyway, I changed my mind about selling mine even though I bought its replacement, so I now have 2 cars 😂

The residuals have gone from one extreme to the other in literally 2-3 month 😢 Still you have the best both now 😂 Think the price cut position is a matter of perspective. We brought ours at such a prime time but to someone who wanted to buy last year, it makes a big difference i guess. That said the biggest difference affecting the monthly payments is probably the APR. They’ve just dropped it from 6.9 to 3.9 as of today, and i suspect its time limited! Still thats a big difference.

@@AdamWellinformed yeah I think since interest rates in the rest of the industry (banks and mortgages) are so high I think Tesla themselves are subsidising theirs themselves to bring that rate down! I don't feel bad about residuals, to a potential buyer my car is second hand, to me it's always the car I bought brand new

Welcome your advice. Is it best to buy a used Long Range or a new Standard Range? They can be had for a similar price. We'll use it to tow a 750kg camping trailer a few times each year.

There are so many variables to consider for your personal circumstances. However, if towing, the additional range would beneficial for peace of mind 👍

With a family: Y Solo/partner: 3 Standard range: Short city driving, rarely go out for long road trips, more smoother ride vs performance. Performance: If you like it sporty, but more stiff ride due to suspension and tires.

Yeah I pretty much agree with this. I would add that you can do long trips in the RWD models. Its just that if its regular thing you’d be more suited with the long range 👍 Performance wise, they’ll all feel quick of the mark. Best thing you can do, is book a test drive online and see what you prefer 🙌

@@AdamWellinformed also price difference, is the 10k worth the faster acceleration? If u do city mostly i dont think its worth it and ull burn thru tires faster if u accelerate a lot. Also forgot: climate. Do you live in SNOWY or go to where snow is? Then AWD performance. If dry places like central valley california then a RWD is more than enough
