Currently, you cannot remove the videos created by Google. But if you add your own you can just choose to use it instead.

Kasim I have to correct you, you actually DON'T need to have the feed already set up, you can create a Performance Max campaign without a feed, all you need to do is not select a Merchant Center account in the first step of the campaign building. This is especially awesome, because smaller countries weren't able to run Smart Shopping ads, because MC didn't support them and you were unable to upload a feed and you couldn't run SS without a feed. Now smaller countries get Performance Max! You can either run it with the product feed by uploading it through business data (which I always do) or without it if you want, but I don't think it's the optimal choice.

How to ensure that most of the traffic goes to shopping? Apart from turning off the URL expansion, would deleting the video created help more budget directed towards Shopping spend?

That's the difficult part because there is no real way to tell where placements are happening in pmax. It's also not possible anymore to delete the automatically created videos.

Hello I love your videos they are really helpful and informative. I have so many questions. I'm new to E-commerce, a new online store owner and new to Google Ads, Analytics ROAs, new to drop shipping you name it I'm new to it. I've spent a ton of money on Ads and get lots of traffic but absolutely no sales. I've watched so many dropshipping and Google Ads experts that talk about funnels and optimization. My question is with Performance Max is it possible for me to finally put two and two together to start getting sales? I was recently told about Performance Max and set up my campaign just like you did in the video and since my smart shopping Ads were a complete failure I deleted them so Performance Max are the only campaign I currently have. I over think everything but I need to answer this Why and What to make my store a success

Hi guys, awesome stuff! Just wondering how you would delete Google's auto-generated videos? Would they show up in the "Edit Assets" section? Also, when I try to create a campaign without the search assets as you mentioned (short headlines and descriptions), Google tells me that at least 3 headlines and 1 description are required. Is there a particular way you could create a Performance Max campaign without the search assets so it doesn't run on search? Cheers

Nope! Cant delete them unfortunately. Also, they just updated it to where you need to run search now.

Hi Teodor, thanks for watching. Unfortunately, no, there is no way to stop it. You will either have to create videos or use those generated by Google.

Great content so far! :) one question regarding the images though.. Do some image ratios have more value for Google? I'm not sure about their placements, but it's like the Facebook right column - it's generally useless for most ads.. So would it be better to give PM 10 different images in ex. square format, rather than only 5 images in every ratio?
