There is a prominent moment in the Archie run that sticks out for me. Sonic defeats Eggman as per usual and delivers his quips. Eggman's reaction is unexpected, having a full on mental breakdown that leads him foaming at the mouth and screaming incoherently. He is swiftly sent off to an institute, leaving Sonic visibly horrified with how far he pushed Eggman.

I loved that episode of the comic, that was the rawest, darkest moment of Sonic history I've ever seen. Even darker than Shadow's moments.

Great job with the History of Sonic, I've been a fan since the 90's. I was a Nintendo kid so I was sooo happy when they released Sonic Adventures 2: Battle for the Gamecube. FYI Japanese does not have silent e at the end of words, all vowels are pronounced. E is pronounced e as in end. Fox is Ki-tsu-ne not kit-su-n and Jun Se-no-u-e. Also, Rouge is the bat, Rogue is the X-men.

I will never stop shouting the praises of Sonic Forces. One of my favorite games in the franchise with so many fun elements to it. I'll never understand the criticism over the levels being too quick in a game series about going fast and getting to the end as quickly as possible - especially when Sonic Colors levels felt much shorter to me. Creating my avatar in the game was so much fun, the wispons were such a great addition, I liked the villain, call backs to characters and worlds from throughout the series to make the world feel more consistent, and Fist Bump is a certified bop that I still rock out with to this day. People are always free to disagree with me - diversity in opinion is what keeps the world interesting and pushes forward new ideas and art - but I truly feel there's SO much to love about the game.

If I may say, …. Sonic, Sonic 2. The first movie and the second, A few characters save an animal population from being turned in to robots. At the end of every level, we release captured animals. Every time you hit a robot, it is releasing an animal. Sonic’s original ideal was releasing a free soul animal from a robotic existence. So hard. I saw this as a kid. Now I see it later as a message. Sonic’s core message is be better. Don’t become a robot.

And the way you pronounce Tikal, pronounce it multiple ways both times you said it. You could’ve at least pronounced it the way Method Man pronouncing Tical.

Maybe a hot button opinion or whatever but I really like Sonic forces I love games with that level of customization and it was easy to play with my kids at the time. I really did enjoy stuff like Sonic Adventure but when my kids were younger there was no way they were going to grasp a lot of the RPG style Concepts there but unlocking character customization options just buy running through levels over and over again was pretty satisfying I'd say this is one of those games that's excellent for when you don't want to challenge but you do want to play some video games LOL

One hour video I get it but to point out at least one thing. Collen was not the voice of Tails for Sonic X, Amy Palant played him there and in the games from Shadow the Hedgehog all the way to Black Knight. Also I don't believe you mentioned Sonic's game actors other than Roger Craig Smith. As for the whole Ken Panders thing from everything I've watched and read it essentially boils down to Panders being arrogant enough to assume the charachters made for the Sonic comic's were his, and Sega stupid enough to not have legal documenties that can be verified easily in court. Inflating Panders ego to where he'll make very delusional and stupid comments even to this day because he managed to get his way. Without realizing trying to pull that crap with Paramount will end up hurting very hard.
