Bro, when you get back to the area, you are someone I wouldn’t mind having on my boat, and learning a few things from. I have a 31 footer in moss landing. Still a bit green with boating, but a pretty experienced fisherman. I even used to own the KZbinr “halibu77’s”. Hobie adventure island…. So I know your struggle out there peddling around! Rock on man and be safe…. Have to say I’m pretty jealous of your big old slab you caught before you left! Rock on dude

Great to see you take out your brother; He's loud but funny and what a fisherman. We call that beginners luck where I am from but maybe he just has a great brother. Also love the biology lessons, helping others maintain a sustainable fishery, regardless of the laws, is something we need to do more of, I think. Thanks for another great video!

@FishermansChronicles8 ай бұрын
Thank you! Im not sure where i got the jig head from but its 1oz and the swimbait is diezel minnowz 5inch. Brands dont matter, as long as the general profile of the swimbait is right and you swim it properly, fish will bite it!

Nice job kid…tips….bleed your fish as soon as you catch it….don’t skin it….cover the fillets in saran wrap before you vacuum seal it…..don’t wash with fresh water until your are ready to cook it….
@FishermansChronicles8 ай бұрын
Thank you! Why not skin it?
@BlueWhaler178 ай бұрын
@@FishermansChronicles The skin acts as natural barrier from oxidation. So does the Saran Wrap. Bleeding the fish prevents oxidation as hemoglobin binds with oxygen very strongly. Anything you can do to stop oxidation will preserve the fish. I even stack filets together with skin side exposed then vacuum pack. I can’t eat all my halibut from season to season, and the fish is still fresh after a year, by my methodology. I can tell you have passion and good knowledge of fishing. Are you pre med at Washington St. Louis?

I like ur admiration this ass hats make this rules and you Abide by it 👍🏽 and UCdavis Fishing wildlife conservation killed almost 10,000 fish three years ago😂 by poisoning it with chlorine they did say sorry lol and the person who was responsible for that, am guessing still works there! I do admire your enthusiasm, but I believe it’s all in politics and money every year license price going up and so are the ridiculous rules and god forbid you don’t read and remember them all it would get really pricey it’s sad, such a beautiful state but so many rules to fallow that’s it’s not even worth going fishing anymore!!!
